Real talk, Memphis was supposed to be what ATL is , but internal beefs in their city stopped a lot of artists from popping. Dolph's right about that. For a while if you didn't come through 8 ball, MJG, Gotti or three 6, you would only be known in Memphis and the south and parts of the Midwest. Outside of outkast , goodie mob, a lot of early ATL artists music was heavily influenced by the Memphis sound. ATL is the top city in rap simply because of their unity, they've never really had any internal beefs

And like Dolph said, this city as a whole is all about "me", "I", very,very selfish, especially my black brothers and sisters. I hope Dolph continues to do good as an artist and try to be different and help others cause I know how he feels. NO UNITY HERE--EVER!!! And those rap artist here, yet again, wanna try to bring him down, even kill, for just comin up??? NO, Memphis nothing like Atlanta or other city rap artists.
