The idea of hating on Clark makes no sense to me, she’s not controversial at all and praises everyone around her. Im not a fan of nike at all but i still support her choice of wearing them

I'm 67, and I remember how exciting it was in '72 watching Olga do her thing on the uneven bars and in '73 when Billie beat Bobby and in '78 when the WBL was formed and Ann Meyers got drafted and in the '80's and '90's when college players like Bird, Taurasi, Parker, Griner and Catchings thrilled us with their skills and in '96 when the WNBA was formed, we got to fangirl out. But nothing, NOTHING even comes close to what Caitlin Clark has done for young girls and women all over the world. I've never seen anything like it and I'm so happy to be alive at this time to watch it all unfold. Truth be told, many times when I watch her play, I'm that young girl with cupped hands over my mouth, in total disbelief. It's pure joy.

She arguably one of the best female basketball athletes that has ever played the game, but she is not that much better than the other best wNBA players. She will be lost in that crowd soon enough. The media generated hype surrounding CC is nauseating. Reminds me old all the teeny bopper infatuation with Beatles when they came to Dallas in the 1964. The screeching audio of all those teenage girls is mind numbing. But the Beatles legacy demonstrates they were equal to the hype. Caitlin Clark’s actual status is yet to be determined. I am not astonished by her ball handling skills. Or her defensive play. She does have a certain flare for sinking those long range three pointers.

I’m willing to bet those seats are ones that were bought for the purpose of reselling, but couldn’t be resold before the game. I wanted to go see Caitlin Clark here against the New York Liberty on May 18. All the seats are basically sold out on Ticketmaster, and the good seats that are being resold, have a resale price of about $1,200. I’m not paying that much for a WNBA game.

@@TheSuperman. I wouldn’t pay that much for an nBA game. I would go to a Lingerie Football League game before a wNBA game. Those gals are physical. The glaring difference between the boys and the girls game is the gal QB’s just can’t put the zip on the ball. But the blocking, tackling and running are pretty intense. And they just don’t seem to be as ‘butch’ as the wNBA. Adopt a wNBA veteran for only $18.99 a month.
