YPC, Young People's Chorus is an incredible not for profit organization that aims to make music accessible to all young people in NYC. There are over 2,000 kids making up the full Chorus this year, about 600 performed in this Holiday Celebration at Lincoln Center. I'm so proud of my 11 year old for joining this incredible group and practicing so hard, didn't miss a single practice! She sang her heart out on stage and Lincoln Center...This is a proud mom post, however if you live in NYC and have kids (through high school) this is definitely an organization worth looking into and supporting. There are multiple performances in various venues all season.
