There will never be another Victor Newman on Y&R. Eric is the 1 & only 1 able to pull off playing such a character. I've always loved Eric Braeden's acting no matter what he played. As a kid, I always loved the herbie the lovebug series also, & once again, Eric was a master at playing that stern & firm character, I'll kick your butt herbie type character that only Eric could play like an acting genius could. No matter what, Eric, you'll always be loved & remembered by many fans like myself & my family & others who've watched you for years & got many laughs out of you (playing Victor) & the adrenaline going with you (playing on herbie), amongst others. Thank you for your many years of great entertainment on TV doing what you were meant to do: entertain us all. Which you did very well & like a master. All the best to you, your family, co-workers, etc... for all the laughs & amazing shows yous all gave us to watch during our best & worst of times in our everyday lives. You've all kept us going. With help of MD Anderson in Houston, we also did alternative with vitamins, healthy eating, laughter and living each day to the fullest. Very little sugar and starches! I am 70 and have enjoyed your acting for more years than I'd like to admit. Always thought besides being handsome, you are a gentleman and kind human being! God Bless you!

Just to let you know, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2005, after surgery and chemotherapy, which caused a loss of smell and to a lesser degree taste, I was declared "cured" but would require 6 monthly check ups for 2 years, then annual checkups for 5 more years, then reduced in regularity to every 2 years ongoing. At different times particularly in earlier days it did return but was attended to early, and I've been cancer free for 10 years now. I thought this may offer some reassurance that it IS surviveable. My husband had prostate cancer ten years ago and had radiation for it. Needless to say three years ago he started having bladder issues from the radiation and had to have a superpupic tube put in his bladder coming out his abdomen with a big urine bag. After a year and a half he had his bladder taken out, now he has a stoma and a urostomy bag for his urine, we call it Ozzy😁. He has had that for a little over a year now and is doing GREAT! Plays golf again and does the things he once did. He is now 80 years young. Much luck to you Eric and our prayers go out to you. Love Y&R and your character. Hugs 💜💜💜
