But still even tho he lost that version of him after knee injury he became the best centre forward or most deadly and we say decline vs adapting to injury (even when not yet old and in prime years still age wide up to 32), we praise lewandowski and other strikers who don’t have near anywhere the skill set and ways to assist or score as Ronaldo does who can score in every way after knee injury ven when fks declined ed he can do it better than centre forwards and was still a magnificent scorer and forward up until 2018 even.

This version of Ronaldo is what got me to kick a football. Absolutely unreal talent and simply unstoppable. That season he won his first Balon D’or, 2008 I think, he was literally one of the best players ever seen. Insane.

I know it must be hard trying to remind clowns, kindergarten football supporters/ followers that when it comes to pure footballing ability and talent like the "flop of madrid" spoke about cr7 alongside ronaldihno and neymar were the purest form of entertainers the world of football had ever seen that were succesful and that holds till this very day in my opinion. They had us trying to replicate stuff they did on the pitch in our smaller circles cuz we were left most days scratching our heads as to what sorcery these men conducted on a weekly basis on the pitch real time. The definition of pure football should be associated to a few athletes imo because of how mesmeric and the unreal connection these athletes had with the leather ball, so much so that it was almost a circus show when they stepped on the pitch, u at minimum expected to mesmerised by their trickery before the 90mins elpased and these athletes were : ronaldinho, young cr7, r9, robinho, neymar, zizou, bergkamp in no particular order. Hazard and messi are gifted footballers messi being more efficient, they are certainly not what the flop is trying to portray them to be.

His so called "World Class dribbling" was ineffective most of the time, his international career is overrated as he statpadded against micronations in Qualifiers. He doesn't have a single all time great performance in an international tournament. In fact, he hasn't even contributed to a single goal in the World Cup knockout stages. Keep in mind Portugal scored over 20 KO Goals during his career.

In the attitude of the league it definitely proves that he was a goat already at his young age where I completely agree with it. He had so many aspects at that age, he can do everything in any league and at any age because he is the most complete player in history by a considerable margin from the rest. ronaldo is not the one who adapted better. sure at the beginning he was a lot better with his dribble and freekick technique but later on throughout the years messi went on from a goalscorer to pure assister and dribbler in 2015 to a complete playmaker in 2019. What seperates messi in that season and 2008 ronaldo is that messi was carrying a broken team with a huge decrease in pace, he had to decrease dribbling with playmaking. plus in 2022 messi stopped focus on goalscoring and more on creating play. i hate when people compare messi and ronaldo with goalscoring, is ronaldo better in that? idk afterall messi was always responsible to create play and help the team.

@@user-fh5nl4bu6c Yes Neymar was the definition of a brazilian He was magic and for sure the Most skillful players in the world in the 2010s when he was at Barcelona (2015/16 His prime for me) but this young Ronaldo was different His skills was too good for the Premier League and he was like a pure freestyler more than a football player on the pitch
