I related to that so much. I remember the last time I saw my mother alive and I wish I said something then.

Lots of people wish their final moment with a loved one was different and that they'd said or done something more. If you can see it coming, then you may get that chance. But many don't. I also lost my father suddenly, from one day to the next. The last thing I said to him was: 'Alright, well, I'll come back tomorrow to finish that. See you.' And that was that. I like to think he knew how I felt regardless, but it does feel like something was stolen from you and nothing can give it back. You just have to learn to cope and move on.
