I rarely disagree with ScreenRant theories, but this one is borderline irresponsible. Georgie and Mandy were understandably shocked by the news and worried about how they would take care of the baby, but they were never rude or indifferent to Connie in that scene. Shame on you.

"she provided Georgie with a steady income" no she brought her grandson in on her crime. He's right to be worried about being implicated and losing his job. He's got a baby on the way and that baby being taken care of is far more important than his grandma going to jail for a crime she did commit knowingly. Sounds more like meemaw is the bad guy here.

Meemaw caused her own legal problems. Yes, she’s been a great support to them, but OF COURSE, their first concern is their family and income. Meemaw has a boyfriend to live with. They’re still very young, with a young child to raise. 🤷‍♀️
