As much as I love YTG, bad mixing is very much more often the fault of the band than the sound mixer, since they control the volume of the amps and stuff

@@SpicyTunaCakes Sorry, but if you check every available pro-shot live stuff from them, they sound differently and that is NOT because of the band. It mostly depends on the soundguy who's in charge for the recorded sound. If the guy does not know (or care) that the sound he/she mixes for the live environment differs from what others will hear on the recording, then this is what we get as a result: a flat and pale pile of shite.

yeh your wrong. its not the FOH mix. its from the Video bunch who are only taking an audio signal from FOH or where ever. also the sound might not be perfect llike you want cause you can illegally use this audio for other purposes. hence why video you find online might not always be top sound & same goes for just audio. iv heard many full concerts & albums on here that are rubbish sound but it is done so u dont grab it for free & maybe reuse it for personal or commercial needs. buy it & alls good.

There are TONS of things that can go wrong mixing/recording so am not picking on you when I say just for starters, high winds, constantly changing winds, pressures, how a band plays between bands and musicians between musicans in the same band, equipment may or may not have been available, shit breaks and replacements are not always comparable, maybe the angles, depths and heights of mics couldn't be adjusted after sound check and a storm rolled in and affected those settings... so when you say that kind of stuff it says "I'VE never done it so it must be super ez" and it is anything but simple, even after TONS of experience.

another 1. use ya head man lol. it not the FOH mix issue. sound will never be perfect ( how you want it to be) for these free online videos or audio cause 1 can rip it for unauthorized commercial use. want the proper quality. buy it! plus it depends on how the video bunch have tweaked or not their audio signal from FOH or where ever they getting their audio feed. & most dont care cuz its for free viewing.
