Vahide has great charisma as Hurrem Sultan, Meryem is also perfect to play young Hurrem.They are both great actresses.

Can I just say their casting was so on point? Like if an actor has to leave the show it's so difficult to find someone who'll do justice to the role like the previous actor. The Valide Hurrem did a pretty good job I must say❤

Initially when Meryem left,I didn't watch the series regularly. However, after watching the rest of the series,I must admit that I fell in love with Vahide even more than Meryem. I literally cried my heart out when Vahide fell sick. The series runs in your mind even when you ain't watching it. Best series ever. Each character big and small were absolutely magnificent. Love from India❤️❤️❤️.

At the beginning I was a little mad about the change. Now, I have to admit that I prefer the old Hurem more over the young, the old Hurem is more mature and wise, and looks more real.

@@emirc293 Where did you get that incorrect nformation? Most historians say she died at 52 and only a few say she died somewhere between 52 and 56. I have never read anyone say she died at 56. That actress looks as if she's in her late 50's early 60's. Ukrainian women, like Hürrem, age very slowly and are still very young looking in their 50's. I know this first hand.

Well for me without a doubt its the younger one 😃 And yes she was gorgeous but for me it was the little things; you could literally see the love on her face when she would look at Sultan. And jeez, when she was mad and furious I had shivers go down my spine!! And yh , they're both great actresses we're great; But for me Meryem was my queen!!

Both are amazing, Old Hurrem (Vahide) is more elegant and has more royal quality and charisma to her and fights bloody for the throne , while Meryem is more of a seductive rebel who fights those above her.

Although i like both, i prefer older Hurrem. She is cold and compose, strong, royal etc. Vahide Percin is the best.

Young hurrem is what Hurrem is supposed to be. While old hurrem is what Sultana is supposed to be,acts more like Shah Huban or Hafsa Valide Sultan than hurrem.

y'all like the first hurrem because she's young and pretty. I prefer the second version, because she had more the appearance of a queen while the younger hurrem idk, seemed weak. Not to mentions the way the second hurrem would make her hair and place her hands. Truly epic.

+Sabrina Gheorghe She was tried, because she work hard - in the night she learnt in Turkish to Hürrem role. And people see in her only Hürrem, not Meryem. That is why she started subconsciously identify with Hürrem, she started have a mental illness. She even tried to make suicide. Then she also knew that she is pregnant and when she told it to her partner, he demand abortion. So break down Meryem escaped from Turkey to Germany.

Meryem was pregnant by her porn star boyfriend and became sick also, she burnt her hand accidently. So she had to leave the role of Hurrem.

Meryem y Vahide , me quedo con las dos , son exelentes actrices , es una pena que Meryem haya salido de la serie por que lo hizo fabuloso y Vahide se compenetro rapido con el personaje ya que Meryam habia dejado demaciado alto la vara , pero lo supo hacer y le salio para mi muy bien , no se pueden comparar por que cada una actuo en el momento preciso.

For me if meryem did the older version the show would be entended for more episodes. She had a lot of chemistry with halit.. vahide is a great actress but meryem is the true FIRE of the show. She brings out the best of every cast. Like mahidetvan. nigar kafa. Ibrahim pasha. Rustem.sumbul aga.gul aga .and lastly she brings the best of the Sultans role the love , hate and jealousy of young old hurrem is irreplacable .Meryem Uzerli IS BORN TO BE HURREM SULTANA SHE IS MADE FOR THAT ROLE AND NO ONE ELSE👍👏❤
