A young whitetail buck wades through the vernal pool, captured on one of the trail cam videos set up at this location.
Great to see the start of velvet antler growth on these deer. The growth rate is quick, and in a few months the resident bucks will be sporting some impressive racks.
Still hopeful of capturing an owl at this trail cam set up. The log that the deer passes behind was specifically placed there to be used as a perch for any birds of prey. Fingers crossed.
