As a Tunisian person I agree about everything you said not everyone knows English it's kinda new to us we prefer speaking French cus it's easier try asking younger people and about crossing the street yeah you have to be quick but don't JUMP IN FRONT OF CARS if you are scared just look for a bunch of people who are crossing and follow them and about males it is true you have to inform them that you are with someone and before traveling I advise you to list up the places you want to go to and look them up like hammamet , sousa , Tunis the capital it will make things easier (oh and just another thing I want to add I noticed that a lot of people think Tunisian people hate black people that is not true I am not say there aren't sick people who are racist but the majority of us are really friendly🤗). Great video... very funny though... We Americans and you Brits kinda expect EVERYONE to speak to us in English even in "their" countries... The French who, by and large, speak some English, refuse to speak in English to Americans and Brits... I speak fluent French and Arabic, as well as other languages, and tried to get the French to speak to me in English in Paris... Wasn't gonna happen... but the stunned look on their faces when I started speaking to them in Parisian French was priceless...
