진짜 대단한건 제니같아요 아무리 어릴수록 언어습득이 빠르다지만 10살이면 언어체계나 정체성이 한국인으로서 완전히 잡힌시기에 5년유학으로 원어민의 영어를 구사하니까요...그렇다고 우리말이 줄거나 성장이 멈춘것도 아닌게, 어려운 속담이나 어휘력이 우리나라에서 나고 자라 평균의 교육과정을 거쳐 성인이된 일반적인 한국인과 다를게 1도 없어요

김서련 부유하다고 해서 다 영어를 잘하는건 아니죠 ㅎㅎ 조기영어를 시켰다고 계속 영어를 할 수 있는게 아니고 한국에 다시 와서 살다보면 한국어 (모국어)가 계속 영어 말하는걸 방해하기 때문에 계속해서 노력해야 꾸준히 그때 그 시절 영어실력을 그대로 유지할 수 있어요 제니가 대단한거 맞아요

10살이면 언어적 정체성이 완전히 잡히는 시기는 아니지만 어느정도 한국어에 익숙해졌을텐데 영어를 유창하기 하니까 노력을 엄청 했을거예요...ㅜㅠ꙼̈

@@user-gm3pg7us5l 저는 댓글쓴분이 아예 10살때 유학으로 첨 영어를 접했는데 저 정도로 유창할수있다고 생각하시는거에 대해서 말씀드린건데요..10살때 유학을 권유한 부모님인데..당연히 애들 보통 영어유치원 기본으로 보내고 조기교육 시키죠 ㅎㅎ 부유하다고 영어를 잘한다고 한게 포인트도 아니었는데요~ㅋㅋ

Rosé has been speaking English since she was a baby so her skill is effortless and her accent is truly soothing and pleasing to the ear. Jennie who learned it later on as a child is also highly skilled and has such a soft tone that sounds like honey. Ah I truly can’t choose, both accents are so different yet unique in an amazing way

웅얼거리는 발음은 뉴질랜드 억양의 특징이에요. 흔히 mumbling한다고 하는데 억양이 강한 사람은 발음이 많이 뭉개져서 정말 알아듣기 힘들어요.

Jennie doesn't have that American accent. Truly if you listen to her a little properly it sounds more posh and British I guess. English isn't my first language but there are some letters that she misses that makes her sound her British I guess. I know Lisa doesn't really speak English well or much but I feel Lisa has that more American accent and swag while speaking

Jennie was living abroad for 5 years. Chaeng was born and raised abroad so ofc she would be more fluent in English. It’s her first language 🤣 Anw, both my babies are charming when they speak English. The best part is when they are in charge of speaking when it comes to English interviews. The way they rely on each other is just too cute and funny 🤣

Seema Patel yeah she started to learn English when she went to school. Her mindset was built in English. She said she couldnt speak much Korean when she first came there and Jennie spoke English to her to help her blend in better. When BP started to do global promotions I was surprised that she’s more confident and attractive when she speaks English compared to Korean.

한국에서 나고 자라고 성인이 되어서 호주로 이민을 온 케이스인데 10년 전쯤엔 호주 사람들이 워럴을 못알아 들어서 워터라고 하니까 알아 듣더라구요. ㅋㅋㅋ 요즘은 워럴해도 다 알아 듣는듯해요. 한국에서 미국식 영어를 배워서 이게 입에 배니까 안고쳐지네요.

For someone who was born and raised in Korea, Jenny's English is amazing. I understand she went abroad for a few years but it is still very impressive. Rose's English is excellent but it should be, she spent the first 15 years of her life in an English speaking country so she gets no praise from me.

Rosé has aussie accent Jennie has that new zealander accent or what ever you call it Lisa has American accent Jisoo has Korean accent But it's incredible how they can rap in english it's hard to rap in other languages apart from your own language I can only do Filipino, english and korean and i bet you it's hard needs some practice

Rose's voice is very soothing and smooth (coming from an Australian, I don't really understand why people love our accent because to us it sounds not that unique haha). It's also interesting to see Rose's accent sometimes switches to a more American pronunciation eg) rolling r sound in some words over time. Maybe from being with Jennie for so long with her half kiwi half American accent

Rosé is 100% a native English speaker considering she was born and raised and grew up in 2 English speaking countries. So while her accent might be harder to understand for some, Rosé’s vocabulary and fluidity in speaking is attributed to the fact that it’s her native tongue. Jennie’s very fluent for not being a native speaker. Spending time in NZ during her most formative years definitely helped her achieve that plus she’s able to practice with Rosé often. I like her ability to shift/tone down her accent depending on who she’s speaking with.

Having English as her native tongue helps her vocabulary. But having vocabulary is attributed to being a wide reader. Rosé loves reading so she gets to widen her vocabulary.

I am very impressed with Rosé, and not because of her accent or how fluent she is or how she pronounces the words. I am impressed because of what comes out of her mouth. They are not only instantaneous responses, but very intelligent as well. She doesn’t just open her mouth to speak, they are all carefully selected and well thought, and she does it in split second.

As someone currently studying and working in Australia, it's interesting that Rose's accent is considered sophiscated or elegant by non-Australians. In Australia, Rose's accent would be considered quite common and is referred to as the general accent. There's three main types of accent, with variations in between the three: broad, general and cultivated. The different accents people have largely depends on which parts of Australia they live in. The general accent, which Rose has, is more widely found in Melbourne (where Rose is from), Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart. The broad accent, which is more nasally or hardcore bogan and considered less sophiscated, is more widely found in rural parts of Australia, as well as parts of Sydney and Queensland. Felix and Chan from Straykids, who are both from Sydney, speak with the broad accent. The cultivated accent, which is considered more cultured/educated or elitist, is spoken by people like Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush, both also from Melbourne. Fun fact: Hollywood actress Margot Robbie (who is from Queensland) said in an interview she had to modify her accent from broad to general when she first appeared as an actress on Australian tv so she could be better understood and be more accepted.

In the beginning of Blackpink debut jennie hs quite strong kiwi accent however as time goes by it seem like she influenced by lot of accent? anw I love jennie, her English is just perfect, she's cute when she speak japanese and chinese too.
