I feel so much sympathy for him about his phobia! It's not fun being that afraid of something that other people are absolutely okay with. A lot of people are afraid of heights and spiders, but that is a fear that sets you apart. I'm not deathly afraid of this, but it just sends shivers down my spine when I see tiny objects (for example when people make tiny art) and present it on their fingers. It just creeps me out.

The phobia would be claustrophia, but then claustraphobic is the actual physical condition of the word claustraphobic already. That's what leads to a very dangerous version of claustrophobia, especially in really dark places inside a house or building rather than outside. It's really scary when it happens at night, though, unfortunately for humans.

They're basically fake people used to show scenarios that are too dangerous for a person. So, like, if, for example, a TV show wants to film someone jumping off a building and being killed when they hit the ground, they'll use a dummy so that no one actually has to get hurt in order to film the scene. They also use them to test car safety features. They'll put dummies in the car with sensors to test the force the dummies receive from the various tests, to see if a human could survive whatever the scenario they're testing is. If you've ever watched Mythbusters, they use a lot of them to test potentially deadly myths in order to figure out if a human could theoretically survive or not. Hope that clarifies things a bit.
