I started playing this song on guitar & singing to it when I was with my ex partner. Everytime I hear it I immediately start sobbing. It feels nice, warm, and somehow sad and lonely, it gives mixed emotions and being emotional imagining Sam and Julie finally lying in the fields of barley together. My heart still aches for the both of them, even if it's just a story. It really hooked my heart.
