Despite of being 23 years since Inspector Gadget came out, this song is still awesome. I miss the good old times. I was 3 when this movie came out. I feel old just thinking about it.

Great song. I didn't even know there was a "clean" version. The version I have from back when goes "I can freak you with my gadget" instead of "I just call out go-go gadget", among other differences, which I always thought was awkward for this a movie! The movie itself is pretty damn awkward and creepy to be honest, lol, and felt nothing like the old cartoons. But this version of the song is better and suits the movie way better.

i never knew that inspector gadget was actually once a man. I thought his nemesis created him for evil and then his plan backfired as Gadget turned good.

they changed the words on thier actual album from "just call out go go gadget " to the words "i can flick you with my gadget"

This was recorded in two versions, the Disney version and the album version. Disney didn’t like version 1, they said no and made them come back in and re record so this has go go gadget and claw references as required for the film and the soundtrack album for it Version 2 the line is I can freak you with my gadget which is where Disney objected, and I’m surprised Saban and DIC allowed passing but this was allowed to slide as it would serve as DIC entertainment as the brands owners last in cinemas ever, and it would be caravan pictures last as they’d close after the film Saban is owned by Disney via BVS entertainment to this day (for everything else as well in his library) and up to half of IG the IP, Disney only had this by limited partnership of DIC entertainment at the time this was filmed so hence version 2 was allowed as well

Oh yes... weren't you surprised by that one? X3 I recently discovered it myself. I was like, "O.o" Perhaps Youngstown made them at the same time, but Disney needed one that was much less... explicit. You know what I mean? Either way works, though.
