His empathy for other humans and almost preternatural insight into them made him more than a teacher/creator of hypnosis protocols. Dr. Erickson's gifts were rare and profound. Here's to his legacy and those who would do it justice.

he confused the shit out of her with the hand coming up at the same speed as the other coming down luckily she was already relaxed and he still managed to keep the trance going he adjusted quick.

I think whqt happened here is she (or her subconcious) didn't want to move from that position, EVEN despite is rather direct suggestion. She even confirms it right after by saying "I'm comfortable". Her subconcious was confortable like this, great, he agrees "it is nice etc." and moved to the next
