As a 32 year old that went through middle school and high school during this eras peak, this hit home.

Man, seeing your video/ song, growing up with Blink 182, and seeing the girl you cast in the video hit me so hard. She looks exactly 100 % like my fiancé who sadly passed away in 2017. I am hitting 40 in 2 weeks and this week I cried so much listening to all my favorite rock/punk songs reliving all the amazing memories and realizing how quickly life can pass you bye. I have not given up on finding love again. It is just so hectic when everyone asks you, when are you getting married, you need to get children now, you are getting old, but deep down you feel like you're just a kid inside listening to Adam's song.

It's crazy that this all started as a meme. Look how far we've come! This song was top notch

Ok so firstly, the title is ridiculously clever particularly with new blink material coming out! I think everyone aged 30-40 will be able to relate to this song/ video. We all like to think our youth was just yesterday but it’s getting further and further away. This video is so well done and tells the story perfectly. Man I miss those days so bad. This song allows us all to be transported back to the early 2000s and I know I can’t be the only one who smiles listening to it. Thanks for this.

This reminds me of high school and legit made me cry. I'm 30 now, and after HS, all of my friends (who all liked that emo stuff!) all moved on. It's been years since I've spoken to them or seen them. But I still have the memories of going to the malls, and Hot Topic, and walking around the park in the Fall right when school started. Miss just being stupid and loud and being a /teenager/. Missed the friends I had and the cheap smell of Axe body spray and the sounds of our bike tires as we drove through the woods and laughed, music in our MP3 headsets and checker-print backpacks bouncing over every rock. The way the sky would get dark and the streetlights would come on and we'd have a dumb handshake or fist bump and say 'see ya tomorrow'. Sharing Doritos and walking home from school in our band tees and anime shirts, wrists covered in bracelets and eyes with WAY too much makeup. I do miss Blink-182, and I miss the good old days, as well. Thank you, for taking me back to the happiest I ever was. To the smiles and laughter I thought I'd forgotten.

This hits the nostalgic feels hard! But you know what makes me feel a bit better? There are kids out there now doing exactly what we did when we were in high school. Making these memories and hearing songs that will affect their lives forever. Its not the same as experiencing it ourselves but it does give me some inner peace.

I am in awe at how this song is so tongue-in-cheek and genuine at the same time. At times it's a parody of itself and at other times it's pulling at your heartstrings, all wrapped up in a very solid composition, song and video. I love it when the violins kick in around 2:09 , let's hope this Kickstarter goes through.

It’s only a meme if your listening with your eyes. To me it’s an authentic piece of audio that brings me back to not a better time but a time worth remembering. A song that lets us appreciate our friends back then prior to all the drama that drove us all apart. A song to the ex girlfriend that you wish was just a friend who you decided to hold hands with instead of letting it get complicated and messy.

There just had to be somebody in the world to kinda revive this music for all of us having been teens in the 00's... and to actually do it as an adult person. And so it's Matt. Thanks bro, keep it up.

It’s normal to shed a tear while listening to this, right? ……… right!?

I feel like this captures my formative years pretty accurately. Like I’ll be 40 in like a month, so I graduated when Blink was on top of the world! I’ve basically never stopped listening to Blink 182, New Found Glory, and Fall Out Boy since they all had top ten hits. I’ve seen how this style has faded away into the underground, and now been embraced by the youth of today. And I can kinda understand why…. We were the last generation to have music performed by people playing instruments. Now it’s samples and remixes, and it’s all kinda lost it’s soul. I play in a local cover band, and we do a lot of stuff from the late 90’s early 2000’s. And I’ve literally had several people come up to me after a show and say, “I’ve never been to a concert that had a live drummer.” Or “Wow, I’ve never heard music like this.” I feel honored to have grown up with actual music, and really hope this new generation brings back real instruments.

I love how this is both a parody and a genuine song paying homage to 00's emo music at the same time. It fills me with such a wonderful sense of confusion because I'm laughing at the joke at the same time as actually loving the music and feeling nostalgic, which makes me realise that I'm part of the joke and that somehow makes it even better 😂

The way this video started it seemed like it was gonna be ominous and creepy, but when he started smiling I knew it would be heartwarming and touching.

When we are young and in high school we are either so wrapped up in our daily lives -falling in love, our friend who is now our enemy, hating our parents and our teachers- and wabting so badly to be adults that we don't realize the best times of our lives are happening right then. Then we grow up and look back tha ks to music like this and think damn. Those were such good days and they passed way too quickly. How badly we wish we could go back...😢

YBH is so great musically, but their videos also are on another level. It seems so authentic, and really hits you in the gonads of feelings. As a man who is now 33 years old and grew up listening to music like this, it hits me so hard not to listen to this music. Time seems to pass so quickly, with all the stories being wasted. I really miss the days when a problem could be solved by listening to music. And of course before bigger responsibilities come like having to work, pay bills and taxes, and this becomes a boring daily routine.
