Your CPU doesn't support AVX, because it is too old. Your CPU is from 2009, and AVX was officially supported by Intel CPUs in 2011.

It's nothing more than ignorance or jealousy that our 2009 CPUs out run theirs, so they found a way to try to stop us. Show me a "modern" CPU that supports 256GB RAM. They are doing this on purpose. All the games care about is the GPU anyway. All they have to do is check a box on the compiler to allow it to work on non-AVX systems. Maybe it's an embarrassment that our older systems are way faster than their newer ones? I run ALL Ultra settings, and zero lag. I can even encode video, and run Virtual Machines in the background, and the games don't skip a beat. Again, IT'S THE GPU! Dual x5690's are better in every way, except AVX, which is 100% not needed.

Your "X-on" cpu is not lga2011. Your xeon has to be lga2011 to support it.
