Hello again - it records now at least - but the only problem is that when I downloaded this new driver, NVIDIA changed the resolution on my 2nd monitor - i've troubleshooted and tried my best to fix it but just can't - any ideas? To fix the problem for the timebeing - I uninstalled the NVIDIA driver - and in settings in OBS in output - I changed Recording - ENCODER to Software (x264). I know this isn't optimum as low quality recording. Have you run into the 2nd monitor resolution not right after download the new driver???

I have a major live streaming tomorrow.. hope my obs is working.. Update: I have downloaded the driver and install it multiple times because of confusion.. I didn't know that mine was 16 series until someone said that 16 series is upper 1650 driver.. so yeah.. im just realized im downloading the wrong driver previously.. Afterwards.. i have downloaded it right.. but there is new error that nvenc doesn't support it still.. idk why.. its very frustrating.. Until im decide to click help - check for update on obs.. after the update and restarting the laptop.. its working perfectly 🥲🥲🥲 i am so glad.. it works

im not a very techy person and just want to make sure when it finished everything and i was ready to open obs the screen turned white for a few seconds and i heard the sound when you disconnect headphones or stuff like that thats normal? (it did work tho, thanks a ton!)

Much better video than the other guy, but I'm stumped. My display adapter, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX2070 SUPER, is NOT listed in the NVIDIA driver downloads. What is wrong with these people? Therefore, I guess I will have to return the Logitech webcam i just bought, which says it is incompatible with my video driver for recording. I already have a video driver for the RTX2070 that works just fine with my system. The Logitech C920s webcam just doesn't seem to like it for recording! Why do these chronic incompatibility problems keep cropping up year after year, decade after decade?

Sir, I fixed my problem by changing the output navigation setting and switching the video encoder to software.
