During your Rheumatologist appointment, be open regarding your health concerns,
symptoms, and any medical history. Your Rheumatologist will listen, asks relevant questions,
and conduct a thorough examination if needed. This may involve checking vital signs,
examining specific areas of concern, and reviewing any available medical records or test results. After that, your Rheumatologist will provide a diagnosis, explains the condition,
and offers a medical plan for treatment, management, or further tests if necessary.
Don't forget to ask questions, seek clarification, and discuss any worries that you might have.
Comment down your questions or topics you want me to discuss. Thank you!

Have you seen RA displayed as severe pain behind the knees? Possible pain in other areas (biceps, groin, hamstrings).

What does one do when they have serious pain and their first Rheumatology appointment is 3 weeks away? Do you just keep going to the ER for pain meds?

I have the same concern. It's so unfortunate that we as patients have to be nervous about receiving the right care.

How would you disentangle symptoms for someone who has cerebral palsy but symptoms of MS. Same question with CP and EDS.....I'm concerned everything will be chalked up to my spastic diplegic CP as the culprit. Heading toy appointment tomorrow morn. Great channel and bedside manner Subscribed ✅

Are they going to help me eliminate RA or just prescribe anti inflammatory drugs and pain meds? That was my purpose for watching the video. Maybe answer in next video.

Can be confused but usually RA affects more joints than psuedogout

So, I wish I had seen this before my first appt - with my first Rheum-... it is a lesson in knowing your doctor is a POS. and of course a layer of sexism. I had no physical exam. he rushed through my whole appt. , writing me off -like my GP did before finally allowing a Rheum referral- because part of my bldwrk looked pretty good... it didn't matter ANYTHING that I was listing as symptoms. it was allllll written off. and he only did the final ACCP and other standard labs to humor me... AND AGAIN- never a physical exam. thing took. 25 min.
