Another way is furniture pads. But must be good ones with proper adhesive. I have a cheap foam wind screen, but it did not last long, before it stretched and tore. But I was told all of then do that,

How long do they last? does the hair stray on well? does the adhesive pads stay on well?

Adhesive stays on pretty good. The kit comes with a whole bunch of deadcats and sticky pieces, so it should last for a long time. I’ve had some last all season. Other ones had to change out in a couple months.

or just buy an easily removable wind slayer..................... IMO better than dead cat setups for MTB.

That’s what I used to think, but windslayer loosens overtime and eventually lets in wind. I don’t use my GoPro for anything but mountain biking so no need to remove the deadcats.

@@JaredHoff I've never had a windslayer loosen on me, I did buy a heap off aliexpress, i cut the side out for the door and thats it, stays on anyway. I tried the cats but it removes alot of the 'mountain biking noise'
