I recently discovered Excess Only, where you got your camel coat. I love that they use all-wool or wool/cashmere and breathable, not polyester, linings. I also love that their coats button all the way up the front, it’s essential for staying warm. I have a beautiful chocolate brown long coat on order from them, it takes a while, I think they make small batches. The US brand Banana Republic also has beautiful coats in these fabrics, I bought two of them earlier this autumn. I wouldn’t normally buy so many coats in one year, but because of weight loss I had to replace my wardrobe anyway and I finally found the quality I need! I just refused to buy those crappy polyester ones that dominate the apparel market, I buy for life and function and they’re not even warm. Love your “fewer but better” wardrobe approach, your style and your channel. It’s also nice to see someone beautiful who has a small head and face like me, for a change.❤

Not a fan of the oversized look unless you are very thin. Anyone more normal sized will look frumpy in that oversized sweater. But I love the colors and most outfits. Camel and black is my favorite fall/winter color combination.

I wear a lot of silk, too, year-round except for the hottest summer days. Silk is my base layer in winter, usually in a shirt, and I wear my silk skirts and dresses a lot, too. Fabric/material quality is the most important thing to me in choosing items for my wardrobe, I can’t tolerate any plastic fibers against my skin. This makes it really difficult to shop, but by persistence I’ve finally achieved a nearly synthetic-free wardrobe.

It is spring where I am and it still freeeezzziing my bum off 😂… I am still needing this video!!! ❤ BUT I do not believe in using animal hair to keep my warm… it’s so cruel because if you truly investigate most wool from goats or sheep, and leather are not ethically sourced. Animals suffer in all ways because of human beings. Nowadays there are so many good synthetic materials that can keep us warm even better. And beautiful designs and quality too.

Yes these influencers have like 1000 piece plus wardrobe it’s crazy so hard to find anyone just showing you good outfit ideas to just use what you already have and without pushing products I really wish some humble down to earth videos will come out just creating outfits with just simple ordinary every day pieces just doesn’t seem to exist unfortunately 🤷‍♀️

i might be wrong but i think this is more of the Scandinavian vibe than Parisian. French girls tend to add a bit of colour to their outfits, i don't think they stick only to beige, grey and blue. Their outfits are simple chic but not necessarily plain and minimalistic. Especially if they add accessories like a scarf, a barrette or a hand bag which stands out not blends with the outfit. Your outfits are nice though.

Are you over 40? No offense. Because the trend for big chunky sweaters, coats, jackets are to have those longer sleeves. I am not quite a fan of it myself to be honest, but there's tons of girls wearing it but they use hair bands to hold the sleeves on their elbows. I tried it myself last Saturday, to meet friends for dinner. It worked nicely. The other option is a Uniqlo sweater with feminine puffy sleeves. It's called a premium volume sweater for around 50 dollars. It won't hang down. Just wear something you love. People have different tastes.😅

Long sleeves that hide the hands are UGLY, it is a matter of PROPORTIONS (and they drip in the sauce). I know perfectly well the trick of pulling up sleeves with hairties (nothing new, armbands already existed a long long time ago), but it is uncomfortable. And what is the use of having too long sleeves just to pull them up ? When I hear about « feminine puffy sleeves » I think I am going to faint. How ridiculous ! What is elegant is 3/4 sleeves : shows the wrists, the watch and the bracelet. Good proportions. I have chunky sweaters with 3/4 sleeves. When you advise Uniqlo I think I am fainting again. I dress Max Mara. Please keep your suggestions to yourself.
