Hey everyone Travis here! I got the chance to partner with Samsung and take a look at their Q990C Soundbar and it's awesome. Ive had the chance over the last few years to experience Dolby Atmos in many ways and I think this is going to lead the way in getting Atmos in everyone's home. From Movies to Music to Gaming Atmos content is much more available now and this setup makes it super easy to experience.

let's not hate too much on these videos being basically ads. I trust Travis, Jon, and the team in a balanced review with pros and cons despite this being sponsored. For the target audience interested in a soundbar, this video is great! Keep it up and send much love to Jon!

I wish reviewers covered reliability and track records of these manufacturers. No one mentions how awful Samsung quality control is. I bought their flagship atmos soundbar in 2019, just after the warranty expired the rear speakers started to hiss and disconnect randomly. I had two of their high-end TVs fail before I received a replacement panel that worked. I doubt they've made much improvement since then, judging by negative consumer reports on most samsung products. It seems like only their smartphones have decent reliability. Yes their soundbars sound great, while they last.

I have owned the q990c for a few months now and I must say it sounds amazing. I must admit though I have not experienced any sense of overhead effects even though my ceiling is flat and the upward firing speakers are at full volume, anyone else have this issue?

I respect the hustle but I BEG the viewers that’s considering getting this DO NOT BUY IT. Samsung audio is HORRIBLE. Sound quality is trash, build is trash and it’s incredibly overpriced. Do not do buy one unless you have money to blow
