I am 71 yrs old and a retired nurse. I have been Army for nearly seven years. My children have embraced the fact that at my age I love this group and my daughters have bought me many BTS things.They threw me a BTS 70th birthday party which surprised many of my friends. I have since got several of them become fans and even one an Army. My eldest daughter is a huge fan now as well and her husband is amused. I was recently in Korea and went on the ‘In the Soop’ tour and found the Army on my coach were absolutely full of love and friendship and they were from all over the world which made me realise that Army are wonderful all over the world. It was a wonderful experience not just being at the house but for the wonderful Army I met. I think we need to prepare ourselves for an onslaught of hate on the boys during the next six months because the haters will use this opportunity to ramp up and it’s already started. We have to be strong and be prepared to stand up for them at this time so Nico you will be busy in the next few months. Also Hybe has a lot of content prepared for us to keep us going until Jin returns so keep doing what you are doing, we love you. 💜

Absolutely. And somehow I always feel the same as they do. I was not surprised with the JH verse reaction on 3D for instance. Because I felt the same way. And it was reassuring to see reactors that I love say basically "oh...no thank you." On that one part. Some ARMY'S make you feel like you are betraying BTS somehow if you don't love every single thing they do. I mostly do to be honest, it's mostly been a couple collaborators parts I didn't enjoy. But still, they are human. So are we. No one's perfect.💜

@damianBTSot7 I know exactly what you mean. I only listen to the remix of 3D because, in my opinion, it's so much better. No hate to JH, but he's not my vibe. I didn't like the song with Benny Blanco. I even forgot the name of the song because I don't listen to it. When I first heard that Snoop Dog was going to make music with BTS, It wasn't what I had hoped for or thought it to be. Benny Blanco, who I never heard of, was leading the song. To me, he was an unknown 3rd party. I hope that just Snoop Dog does a collab with BTS.

It pained me to see how the solo stans and negative people spread their poison and manipulated naive fans. Namjoon said in the last Weverse live that "ARMY are the face of BTS". 👑💜💜💜💜💜💜💜OT7 I’m half🇫🇷and🇺🇸 What you have stated is exactly the way my daughter(college student) and I feel! We look at chapter 2 not as being negative but as a positive step. It’s like when we go through highs and lows in life. You have those who stand by you at your highest and those at your lowest. Those that stand with you at your worst are genuine and loyal! BTS are very intelligent humble young men that are open to diversity and love to make everyone feel included. Hell my husband ( 27yr US Army disabled Purple Heart veteran) loves BTS that says a lot for our family. BTS are master music magicians that bring their own individual sounds and music genres they love together to create lists of different magical sounds for ARMY to pick and choose from if not all! same I divorced a toxic relationship, started to come out and actively rejoining life, when the pandemic really hit and everything was locked down. I found BTS when I figured I would just be depressed again, kind of resigned and just done. I looked up BTS Dynomite and they helped me so much. They are a beautiful people and culture.

Well said Fam! I've been an Army for 5yrs now and for life. One of the MAIN reasons I love them so much besides their music and talent is the love and respect they have for their fans and each other. They share their vulnerabilities , fears, wants etc... and are just amazing good hearted young men. always try to remember that a lot of the negative people are very young and immature and allow themselves to be a part of TOXIC Fan behavior and some are just hateful adults who have nothing else better to do. My dear mother raised me to not worry about what others have to say who don't bring anything positive to your life. What I love about ARMY is the passion and the unconditional love and support they have for all 7 of the guys and apply the positiveness BTS gives to their lives. Hiya! I am a 30 years old ARMY from Nepal. BTS are honestly one of the two sources of happiness in my life, one being my family. ♥️ BTS has been a blessing for me. I had never imagined I would come across a group that would open my eyes to an entirely different culture and music. Once I went into the BTS rabbit hole, I came out as a different person. They have taught me some valuable life lessons. Their love for each other, their selflessness, their hardwork, their unity, their humbleness despite the success, i could go on and on, everything about them just gives me hope. Now that BTS is completely on hiatus, I have disconnected from the x bird app. I just keep streaming and watching BTS content on my own, so I'm also taking this time to disconnect from all the unnecessary noise from all the nonsense so I can regroup again with real OT7 in 2025. Thank you for this, Nico. Let us remember, as RM said, we are their face to the public. Let's honor them with how we conduct ourselves. I love nothing more than finding another ARMY out in the wild. I've found them at Disneyland, in the elevator of my office building, and last week at Staples when the clerk saw my phone case: "Is that Min Yoongi?!" And the conversation is off and running! I have even put notes on windshields of cars with BTS decals, seat covers, etc. Just to say "We're ARMY too!! 💜"

Real ARMY since April 2019, the start of my new life. I just spent 17 days in Korea solo travelling, and 6 days in got a little lonely. 7th day I joined a BTS tour with 7 other ARMY strangers, I honestly felt like I was immediately with best friends. A 62 year old Aussie accepted into a group of much younger women with the same love for 7 guys. You know real ARMY when we meet.💜💜

Well said💜 you’re one of (if not the only) channels where I’m absolutely certain that they are not reacting to BTS for clout, but rather because of a genuine affection and love for BTS as a group and as people. I’m Lizzy, 26 years old and from Germany. I’ve been listening to BTS and watching their content since the start of the pandemic. At the time I was working overtime on top of already ridiculous hours, to cover for my sick colleagues. I was a care worker and also a full time student. At work I was often subject to violence, I worked 14 hour shifts without a break. By the time I was done, there was no food left in the shops because people were panic buying everything. I was starving and exhausted, the only contact I had to my peers was over a computer (and then only as audio feed) and the only contact I had to my family was over the phone. I could feel my body shutting down from the stress and the lack of sleep and food, but there was nothing I could do about it. That’s when I found BTS. Their positive energy gave me hope, their lyrics gave me comfort. I was still dying, but at least I was dying in a metaphorical warm hug instead of on the cold floor. They quickly became my one anchor in life, the single reason why I kept being able to push on. The lifeline that I was desperately holding on to. I fell so horribly behind on my studies that I had to quit, but at least I was still alive. My situation has improved since then. I’m no longer a care worker, and I started uni again this year. I feel more alive than I have in years. I will always be grateful to BTS for their role in my survival. Ot7 ARMY all the way!

This is why I love this channel. It's not just reactions, it's an actual community, a space where we can share the joys of being an ARMY and help each other through the tough parts too. I'm 25, Brazilian, and became an ARMY just this year. Since I don't have friends or family who are fans of BTS, this channel has been amazing. Also, thank you for this much needed video. I agree with the points you made. We really need to act more to keep the fandom "clean" in terms of protecting our community and our 7 favourite guys from the negativity that unfortunately abounds online. Today, after hearing Nico, i would like to add something too: 1. PLEASE stop shipping them. I am not even jokung, but its realy uncomfortable for the members and shameful for us to be doing so even after them telling us they feel embarrassed after reading such comments. 2. PLEASE dont go see them personally when they join military. They even BOWED! If anyone does this, not only will this break the bts army bond, but also destroy their faith in us. It is their last wish before going to military so please resoect it LASTLY: 3. I have seen people comment "oh TWITTER armys are the backbone of this fandom" "oh WEVERSE armys are unfunny" "oh INSTA armys are so negative" STOP! We are not social media armys! We arent divided into seperate groups! Like Nico said, we are a UNITY. We arent this or that ARMY, or this ir that fandom. We are BTS ARMYS. Thank you for your thoughts😊 I wanted to comment on your #1. There are good shippers out there. They are OT7 and believe in their ship. I think there is nothing wrong with that as long as they are not spreading hate. I have never heard any BTS members say they are embarrassed by their comments. As a matter of fact, Jk and Taehyung have supported comments in their lives over the years and have recognized Taekook channels as well. I do believe they are a couple and have always respected others opinions that differ from mine. Most of the problems come from solo stans who ship, which is who Nico mentioned in the video(solo stans). There are bad/rude shippers, I do realize that. But, there are also nice, respectful OT7 Armies who just believe in their ship. Best wishes💜

@@CatherineCason Thankou for being so respectful💜 I would like to differ from your comment a little bit as I have seen and heard Taehyung disagree with one of the taekookers. One of them said "Look t your lover Jungkook's photo to sleep" and Tae said "Get out of your imagination. It's not good in there". And when Joon said that these kinds of comments make him uncomfortable (earlier this year). Because of this they also said ARMYs changed. I dont want our BTS and ARMY bond to break. I dont think anyone does. That's why I have been telling people to not ship BTS with anyone. Personally, I feel like if they want to ship someone or they think 2 people look cute together, they should ship them but keep it to themselves so that no one feels uncomfortable, whether that's an army or a member of bts💜 hope you agree💜💜💜

@@IPurpleYouALot You're welcome💜 I do want to point out the misconception some have over that comment you referred to. Before that, I want to say I only follow a few Taekook channels that do alot of research and do not post sporadically. I went into this not believing everything I hear or see and have done my own research as well. There have been a couple of interpretations of that particular comment you mentioned. What was researched and proven was that the girl who commented said she looked at photos of Jungkook to fall asleep....and that is when Tae told her to "get out of her imagination" (I believe his meaning was she didn't need to "dream" of Jk. Lol). But, at the end of the day it is up to the individual to decide on what the want to believe. As a Taekook believer I will finish with saying this, because I am not trying to persuade anyone who reads this to believe in any ship. I only chose to believe this way because I believe that Tae and Jk give hints(sometimes loudly) to show us their relationship. They support each other through music and on lives. Their relationship is very different than the other members. Their support for lgbtq+ is deep and meaningful to them. Their company also tries to hide and separate them, and finally, Korea Dispatch also support their relationship. Therefore, I believe this is Taekook's way of "speaking out" through us because they are having to be silent at this time due to the Korean culture and military service, among other things. Their relationship may make people uncomfortable and speaking about it may too...but that is what needs to change and is one goal of lgbtq+. The proof of what I said above is found in many videos and concerts(before editing) that were made available for fans to buy, by BigHit/Hybe after the final cut/edit for shows. If I am wrong I'll be the first to admit it, but I do believe they will reveal this in time to come. Armies will always disagree, but believing in a ship and supporting them does not cause a division. The people who choose to be rude and hateful cause the division. Also, many comments by Army cause them to be uncomfortable..there was not a specification on which. I will end it there! Lol Thanks again for the pleasant conversation💜

I’ve been ARMY since 2017, & tbh is so disheartening ( and infuriating)to see how the fandom has developed in the last couple of years, specially since the boys started chpt 2. I've been an ARMY since 2013. I came across BTS due to me being a VIP a long time ago. I will say that I have definitely witnessed some changes in the fandom from when BTS was a small name to now as a super household name. I will say one big thing about ARMY is we don't play no games when it comes to protecting BTS. I definitely pray that BTS will be okay away and I pray for us ARMY cuz definitely I don't know what we gonna do! Heck idk what imma do. I've listened to other groups throughout the years but no one has moved me like BTS. Jerri again. This video demonstrates EXACTLY why I’m here and utterly OT7 and Army till I die! I believe that the millions of us Armys truly have a remarkable and powerful positive influence on our world. For me, this period of time while BTS fulfills their military duty is the time in which we Armys have been given the gift of confirming all that we have shared and learned through BTS and each other. True Army here. I got into BTS during the Proof era, back in May 2022. The first song I heard was Butter, I didn't really like it. I like the song now, but when I first heard it, I did not. What started me on my journey was Jhope's CNS, I remember the original, so I gave it a listen. I saw your reaction to CNS and Mic Drop and decided to give BTS a chance. MY next song was dope. Those songs got me hooked. I started doing more research on BTS and their message. I am now a full fledge ARMY who loves all the members. I love your channel. I know that you are a true ARMY.

You can do it. Not to interfere, it also helps if you believe in God and have a religion. God is always there for you, so you will always have your happy pill. For me personally, with the genocide currently going on in Gaza, I truly wouldn't have been able to get through the days if it weren't for my religion. It's the only thing keeping me going. BTS found me in 2020 and shortly after that I found your channel and have been with you since..I don't always comment but I will sometimes I just want to say a HUGE thank you for everything you do but especially this! I have been struggling mentally lately mainly due to everything you talked about ..these solos and antis and all that loud nonsense trying to take control and destroy us and tear us down have been way to loud lately and we need to refocus ourselves...we need to just keep blocking and reporting them and stop giving them attention...do all this in silence share their accounts in GCs or discords or DMs because these people feed off of us they want us to fight back so if we stop giving them oxygen then we will be able to gain our spaces back...because it's so toxic on most platforms I don't ever want to interact in fear of being attacked. Hi Nico & Fam. My name is Cristina, I'm 41 years old and I've been Army for almost 3 years now. You were my first reactors to BTS and always will be my favourite ones. Not one other reactor has been more sincere and straightforward than you, that's why I respect you so much. Now, to answer to your question, what would BTS do, I guess my answer would be: to speak ourselves. They'll never know how much they've helped with that one simple phrase. Hello My first introduction was the Butter video on September 1, 2021 (no idea it was JK birthday-this was my first time hearing about them) I’ve been consumed every since to the point I have no interest in any other artists I know they are great but the only ones I know are the ones that collaborated w/ members of BTS.😂 As a 53 year old Black woman who teaches 12th grade I get the side eye and laughter all of the time about my obsession with BTS. I’ve never had tattoos or a lot piercings but this year I went rogue and got 3 tattoos (2 of them are BTS tattoos)😮 I’m hoping I can see them in concert one day I did see Agust D. - Amazing. I'm 50 years old. I've been an ARMY since 2016. I know exactly how you feel. I have been trying to convince my daughter to listen to BTS and become ARMY since then and she kept telling she didn't like K-Pop but she became a Stay (Stray Kids fan) since the end of last year and she's been trying to convince me to listen to them, to like them and I keep telling her, there's nothing wrong with them, but in my heart listening to any other group to me feels like I'm cheating on BTS. I know it might sound dumb to some people, but I love them so so much that I just feel like I'm not being loyal to them if I become a fan of some other group. Also, I think there's a huge difference between being a SOLO stand and having a bias but still loving all seven members and I think some people confuse the two. We have to understanding that without one of those members BTS would no longer be the same All 7 members are equally important to the group. But some ARMYs think that having a Bias mean you should only care for that particular member and not care at all what happens to the rest and that is where they mess up big time. Cause even your bias would definitely disagree with that. They all love each other so much that they wouldn't think twice if they had to choose between you and one of the members. Having a Bias just means you like that person a bit more, because you like his voice, his dancing or personality, but understanding that he is part of BTS and nothing or anyone is ever going to change that (unless they themselves decide to do so). I’m 50 yrs old and proud to be army from the beginning. My daughter introduced me to them when they were first starting out. I will admit Butterfly is the song that completely won my heart and I never looked back. They have helped me so much get through some very dark times and I will admit I do worry about those dark times when they are all enlisted but knowing I do have ARMY does help. Hi Nico. Hazel from the UK. 63 year old Army since 2019. I love all 7 of them but Jin is my bias. I have never known a group to affect me the way these talented 7 boys have. I loved the fandom when I first started but I find since the hiatus was announced I cannot believe some of the comments I have seen on posts and the abuse I have got when posting about my bias Jin. I have supported all the boys solos even if I haven’t enjoyed some of the music. I have found this channel to be the best so much so I joined your patreon. Keep up the great work. 💜💜💜💜

Thank you Nico!! I am Michelle, a 53 year old from North Carolina. 2019 ARMY. BTS pulled me out of the pain of my past My kids and I have have ptsd. I love these 7 men. I aim to be a positive light like BTS was for me. The ARMY is my happy safe place.

Nico, thank you! I am a 51yo ARMY alone in my love of BTS and K-dramas. At this time more than ever, having a channel, group of friends/family who share the same degree of passion for these amazing young men is so necessary. I found you through a different reactor who was beginning down the rabbit hole and now reacts to all kinds of content to the point that I don’t follow that channel any longer. All we can do now is look forward to the new content RM and the maknae line prepared before departure. Then, of course, there is Jin’s return in June. If we find that content somehow becomes lacking, I’m sure you, Blaze and AJJ would be up for another dance challenge or two, the boys have left plenty of of practice videos😉

I love your channel and everything you said in this video is so relatable, even down to searching for army in the wild by wearing your BTS shirts lol! I couldn’t agree more that this fandom is precious and needs to be protected! I knew about the power of army before I was even interested in BTS. I love this fandom and everyone who is legit ARMY, are amazing people!
