When a spouse is being abused, whether mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, in any way it is time to separate. Until the abuser gets serious help! If no serious help is received and no solid change occurs (no true repentance) divorce is next. Also if one spouse is committing adultery the same thing, separate until serious help is received! No solid change (no serious repentance) divorce.
