In my headcanon Gill is responsible for the series’ hiatus. He’s probably smart enough to build a redstone EMP and stop you from playing for a while so he could build his bunker.

You should make the attic into a messy research room! Like not just for land but for potions and other mysteries of the world. I keep thinking of merlin from Sword in the Stone kind of aesthetic!

Glad you’re back and happy that things are going well in your life! The turquoise color on your base roofs looks so crisp on the map! It’s really cool that the core base structures are all in the center map piece. Seeing the river loop around the area in the full map view really makes me appreciate the location where you settled down even more! For the other zoomed out hanging map, rather than the Nether, perhaps have a big map of the End! Might be a fun thing to do on stream if you happen to go end busting again. And having more livestreams sounds good too! Whatever is more sustainable and helps avoid burnout is the way to go!

Map rooms are my favorite part of any world I make. Its just a nice physicial reminder of how far you've gone and how much progress you've made. You can see in front of you all the difference you've made in your world. This effect only increases over time as you continue to change your world or take on larger projects. Edit: The two hanging maps in the map room should be zoomed out maps which go on in the direction the sign is facing. The Left map will show what is to the left of your base and the right map will show what is to the right of your base.

you should turn the upper level of your new map room into an observatory with a big telescope poking out of the roof. could really fit in with the theme of exploration and discovery you have going on there.

If you want to make a map in the nether, it sadly won't work because of the bedrock ceiling. You are epic mate!

It’s a bit of a headcannon of mine, so I do apologize if it doesn’t align with your true intentions regarding the lore, but perhaps Gill wants diamonds because he’s…lonely? I mean, you kinda did rip him away from his friends and family, so maybe seeing you want diamonds as they are valuable to you, he sees them as something valuable as well and that can give him comfort when everything else feels unsafe to him, so to make up for that, perhaps…you can find him a partner? A buddy or maybe even a girlfriend, I think hat could be quite nice, so the girlfriend would convince him to not use TNT and to be there when he needs her, and in return, you have two beautiful creatures you can watch to your heart’s content, so it’d be a win-win!! Anyways, I’m just rambling, but I genuinely enjoyed this episode, I love all of your building ideas and I got me making some of my own right now, lol!! I have a theory of gill! When gill was a child he was bullied and so now, he roamed the chunks of Minecraft seeking havic on the world, and you found him in the middle of one of his plans for world domination and you picked him up and kept him as a pet, so now he wants to reek havic on towntown!

Nothing beats having a new upload from SoupSoup! This world has been a massive inspiration for us all this year to get back into Minecraft so thank you. Also don't pressure yourself to upload frequently, I'd rather a video every fortnight to look forward to instead of weekly videos you have to rush and I believe that I speak for the whole community when I say that. im not sure how its done but its like you make a map and freezes in time and doesn’t change overtime and you could put your world from 2024 and then the next year you made another map from your world in 2025 and see how much it changes.

also sorry for writing multiple comment's on the video but i just finished watching and i think it's really nice as always it's just something about your videos that are somehow feels so calming and about the nether you can make maps but because of the nether roof it's going to be all gray but if you break the bedrock than it can work out nicely or if you would just ask someone to break it for ya but yeah that's the only way to do it but there are some machines for that if you really wanna do it

Maybe make the empty hanging maps into the nether and the end so you have maps of all the dimensions. I think the colors contrast would be cool
