Just so you know they both can be seen as adults in the movie "weathering with you." They have a cameo mitsuha runs a little stall and taki is actually a small part of that movie.

This and Silent Voice are two of the best anime movies of all time. You guys should watch ‘’I Want to Eat Your Pancreas’’ and ‘’Your Lie in April’’ next.

You need to watch ‘Maquia: when the promised flower blooms’. It is sadder than the anime you mentioned imo. First ever anime to make me tear up and I watched the ones you mentioned before Maquia.

I guess you people never watched Tale of the Princess Kaguya, but even Weathering With You and specially Millenium Actress are already better than Silent Voice.

I saw this movie in NYC and met the main cast. It was pretty great. The directors also worked on "A Silent Voice" too! I think like a majority of Shinkai's works (with the exception of "Suzume") was entrusted to the same dubbing studio. Watch "Mirai" next of you've enjoyed this one!
