STEM CELLS are cells that have not yet “committed” to differentiating into any specific tissue type. They are found in the foetus and called “Embryonic Stem Cells” and produce “daughter” cells that then differentiate into bone, muscle, liver, skin etc. The Stem Cells remain “neutral” in a sense and continue to produce “daughter” cells that can develop into pretty much any type.
We’ve all heard of “Stem Cell Therapy” by now - a procedure whereby damaged tissue or organs is injected with magical “stem cells” that stimulate the tissue to repair itself, right? It’s pretty new medical science, it’s an expensive procedure, and there are no guarantees (though there is growing evidence that, if done right, it can be highly successful). But what if I told you there are somewhere around 700,000 of your own stem cells present in your body, just waiting to help you out? That’s right! These are called ·Adult Stem Cells”, and they can do magic too, but they need the right conditions. That means you have to look after them and give your body the raw materials and nutrients needed for your stem cells to do their job.
Seven hundred thousand might sound like a lot of stem cells, but as there are 30 to 35million cells in your body, that’s just one stem cell for every 45million normal cells - so they are not easy to spot! This is why they have managed to “hide” from science for a long time. Initially they we discovered in bone marrow (it seems that’s where most of them are) and the belief was they make red blood cells and bone cells. We now know these cells can also make liver, lung and skin cells.
Adult Stem Cells have now also been found in the Brain, Blood, Gut and Muscle where they repair and regrow damaged tissue. We’ve known for centuries that our blood cells, skin cells and hair are all replaced on a regular basis. It is becoming more and more apparent to scientists that Adult Stem Cells play a key role in the repair and regrowth of more and more tissue types and are essential to our healing processes.
Unfortunately our precious stem cells become damaged, compromised and depleted over time and therefore less effective when it comes to healing and repairing damaged or old organs, but if we take care of them they will stay active and vital for a lot longer.
Adult Stem Cells are severely damaged by excessive alcohol, smoking, low cholesterol (a side effect of statin medication), inflammation, high blood sugar and stress. Symptoms of impaired stem cells include hair loss, kidney disease, dementia and increased risk of diabetes and cancer.
Steps we can take to protect our Stem Cells:
AVOID: Sugar (including starches and all carbohydrates as much as possible), Tobacco (stop smoking already!), Excessive alcohol consumption.
LOWER: Your Inflammation levels (see link below), your Stress levels, and your Weight (switch to a healthy low-carb nutrition lifestyle)
INCREASE: Regular Exercise, Quality Sleep (see Link below), and Intermittent Fasting (see Link below). Drink more tea and eat more dark chocolate (for the flavonols).

Last year, I accidentally chopped the end of my finger off at the end knuckle. An open fracture with the end bit completely gone. When the surgeon said it would grow back I thought he was taking the piss … When I was not in the mood for a sick joke. Fortunately, the dressings nurse lectured me on much the same advice as in this video … And my finger has indeed grown back … Not quite as pretty as it was, but fully functional.

Great info. One comment. Dark Chocolate, Turmeric, and green and black tea are high in oxalates so am passing on them. They make me hurt. Green tea and cacao are both cellular toxins and the plant toxins within them will prevent the cellular osmosis pump from working optimally. They will eventually lead to cellular dehydration and eventually inner cellular toxicity. I came across this video from it being referenced in an article that was posted by Darko Velcek on Stem cells. Having been self practicing Darko's SHP Self Healers Protocol on myself now for over 10 months his material is profound. Actually experiencing what he discusses and shares on yourself is the only way to change your perspective on these topics. Sadly a lot of what has been taught and learnt in schools and when doctoring is not necessarily the actual truth of what is so. I agree tobacco and alcohol are also to be avoided but more as they also hinder the cellular osmosis pump from being optimal. Toxicity is the real issue and toxicity at a cellular level is the real key to be addressed. SHP addresses these things.

The best way to produce a large amount if stem cells is a good fast. 2-5 days does the body really, really good. Just came off a 2 day myself. Great for lowering insulin, a1c, and general inflammation. Fasting has been shown to even invigorate a deteriorating thymus. I started typing this before you mentioned fasting 😂. Excellent video and perfect advice: reduce carbs and sugars, get daily quality sleep, exercise regularly, fast (stop eating after dinner til you breakfast next day--should easily be 16 hours separation). I did this for cancer treatment recovery: lost 20lbs, resolved a hiatal hernia causing acid reflux, eliminated 20 years of joint pain ( I had thought it was arthritis but it was inflammation), and in short, felt great! Changing diet was the hardest, just due to changing past habits, but I found sugar SO addicting that I had to stop, cold turkey. In a week I no longer had craving (though my mind found the sight and smell attractive for another month). Once I'd stopped sugar intake for a month, I no longer felt tempted or drawn to sweets. I found falling off the wagon meant starting that whole addiction/recovery cycle again, so it's best to just STOP THE SUGAR! It's hidden in so many foods, it requires a real re-education in your eating, but it's so worth it to feel good in your own skin. Good luck to anyone starting this path to recover health!

Thank you, timely. I would suggest cutting back on sitting, or at least passive sitting, as this will release cytokines and set up low grade inflammatory process. There is good evidence for high intensity exercise and longevity. Chocolate intake will depend on the individual, as to whether it spikes insulin. Higher cocoa content may lead to higher insulin spikes, ironically I have found lower cocoa content with a higher sugar content less likely to spike insulin.

Absolutely agree. I always think that sitting passively promotes ageing. The secret is to keep active. ANY sort of activity. I especially recommend social dancing. Very sociable non- impact exercise. A win-win for mind and body.

I believe meditation, focusing our mind's eye on any problem we feel in our body, also helps our body create and utilize stem cells more efficiently to heal damaged tissue. Always begin with slow, deep breaths and allow the body to go deeper and deeper into relaxation as we exhale.

Very sensible advice, efficiently presented. In 1972 (?) the British scientist John Yudkin published his seminal book "Pure, White and Deadly" which argued against the damaging but common practise of eating unrefined carbohydrates, but he was shouted down by the foods industry, who, instead, argued that we should stop eating natural fats. Eat organic whole foods that are high in antioxidants, polyphenols and fiber. Moderate amounts of organic fruit high in antioxidants.Make sure you include leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables, nuts and seeds. Use healthy unrefined oils (such as organic extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil). Eat during an 8 hour or less time period daily. Eliminate refined and processed foods. Drink plenty of pure water. Limit sugar, carbohydrate and alcohol intake. No smoking. Exercise, meditate and get plenty of sleep. If you eat meat, wild caught salmon high in omega-3's, organic poultry and organic grass fed meats are good choices.

New sub here. Thank you for this. Can we do this (regenerate with stem cells) in our brain? I guess that would be neurons. Please do a video on that if you want to. I would appreciate how to not loose more of my short term memory.
@shapefixer

@ASpectacular3777 The answer is a qualified yes! There are more and more documented cases of impressive recovery of brain tissue and function after strokes that was unheard of before (much like the way I have been able to completely regenerate my own hip over the past 12 months - link to that video here). I recently read a brilliant book by a brain research scientist who had a stroke herself and was able to heal, and now travels the work teaching the latest brain science (see below). As for memory, I will do a video on the connection between memory and nutrition as you request, it's really interesting. Something that nobody tells you and it's the simplest explanation is that LIVING ages us and activities which feel like hibernation renew us... Fasting, nofap, eating clean, working out, meditation - all of these are things you do to prepare to LIVE life to the fullest and once you start doing said LIVING - eating 3 times a day, food that you actually enjoy, getting laid regularly, start to sleep in and enjoy life so much you don't need to meditate on problems and you don't feel like working out, cuz instead you go jet skiing, ALL OF THESE start to age you! Now, the real hack here would be to combine both Living and Hibernation, where you do the most Living you can get away with, with as little hibernation as necessary to offset aging AND VOILA, YOU WIN !!!

Hi Sir, Thanks So Much For This Vital Info. However, On The Part Of Reducing Inflammation In The Body, Would You Suggest The Balanced Amount Of Baking Soda Water Intake?

Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate, which is a type of "salt" (NaHCO3). It will work for your Sodium intake (sodium is an essential electrolyte) but normal "salt" would be better (NaCl) because it also contains Chloride, which is another electrolyte.
