My dad used to tell these detailed lies about how I had an evil twin who (depending on what storyline he went with) did terrible things and because I was super young I believed him, he said it was character development.

I was a lifeguard during this tsunami in a place where no one knows except me and the islanders and I used my raw strength and endurance to save over 100 people’s lives swimming back and forth then I pushed the tsunami back into the ocean and everyone cheered

(Just a small issue lol) The manager had to come out and help us push it off while I reversed it off and there was an entire branch underneath the car dragging till I was able to cut it out later (don’t know if it left damage). 5 years later, I’m still with her and now every single time we go to a Burger King nearby, we ALWAYS run into that same manager that’s like “Oh Hey! Bush lady! How are you ?? Y’all are still together?? 😂😂😂 (yes, she did get her license as well when she took her test and used the SAME CAR she drove onto a bush with to pass 😂😂😂)

i finally tested how the light in the car affects ability to see while driving at night, and i could see just fine out of the windshield, but i could not see out of my rearview mirror at all, so i can see why a parent would want that shit off as soon as possible

I used to swim laps at the local pool and there was this annoying guy who used to dip under the water and come out and spit a stream of water out. He never did the spit thing again.

The cracking knuckles thing is kinda true. Popping your joints is caused by popping the nitrogen bubbles inside them. Overtime you are wearing them down, but that's only doing it extensively. It's okay to crack your neck and back because you are readjusting the positioning, but other places like your knuckles and shoulders aren't the best.

Lifesavers may not have been made with a hole to save kids from choking, but Lego actually is! (or was idk haven't bought lego in a while) Kids love to shove things up their nose or down their throats and lego made the especially small bits, like 1x1 bricks and heads with holes through them so in case a kid does swallow one, they could still breathe through them!

When I was in high school my family went to the st Louis gateway arch. I had a fear of heights, so I didn't want to go up to the top, but my dad paid for it so I had to go. The entire time we waited to go to the top, my dad kept telling me that at the top we would be willing outside with only a single railing keeping us safe, and in order to get down you have to cross. I believed it for a little bit until I realized how stupid it was. But his second lie I believed. It was that the elevator that went to the top failed all the time and might fail that time. I had no way of fact checking that so I was freaking out the entire way up and down.

when I was younger I was a huge WWE fan and one of the wrestlers "undertaker" did this thing where he'd roll his eyes into the back of his head and do a throat slitting motion and little kid me thought it was the coolest thing ever so I started copying it and similarly to one of the stories in the vid my mom told me if I kept rolling my eyes back they'd get stuck like that and I'd go blind and honestly to this day I was still sus of doing it cuz I had never searched if that was true or not I just assumed she was telling the truth because she worked at a hospital

Ibalso failed my first drivers test. It was such a bullshit reason too, im turning on a road theres another car coming but theres a lot of space between us so i start turning and wouldve made it with a lot of space to spare but the instructer breaker in the middle of the turn so i was horizontal across 2 lanes and failed. He even said of anyone else did that it wouldve been fine but for some reason just not me. I got the next test for free cause the other driver was also an instructor and asked why he breaker like that cause i wouldve easily made kt
