The crux of the matter is that without paperwork once these people put foot on our shores we cannot remove them. They can claim anything and they are from anywhere, there is no proof and we cannot remove them as no country will take them without passports/papers. This was why Tories were trying to get Rwanda going. But it kept being blocked by Labour and ECHR. The only way to stop the boats is to turn them back before they enter british waters.
