Very helpful video, thank you... In my personal experience of the field of Literature, most journals don't really care about new ideas, they just want a particular form of writing and repetition of earlier critics. It's sad that college teachers are all expected to be researchers these days ...

I submit a paper, after 2 months i get major revision (9 remarks). I made the necessary requirments for booth reviewer. Then after 5 months i get reject because the second reviewer think that my discussion is not adéquate. Is it normal to get reject after 7 months without any possibility to give me other chance to improve discussion part.

Bro please make a video on how to publish a preprint article to another journal once it get rejected. I am facing a lot of rejection as the editor mentioned it has highly plagiarized. but prior to preprint , when I had submitted for the first time the plagiarism was below 15%. I had to withdraw my article from the previous journal as they took more than 1 yr for their 1st decision. So I thought to withdraw from there and resubmit to another. But due to this preprint now my paper is getting rejected citing highly plagiarized.

Hi Sir! Your video is very helpful and informative. I am just starting my career in research. I have difficulty in publishing my first research article. I tried to submit in "The Journal of Phytopharmacology", shockingly my paper was accepted within a month after manuscript submission. Then, there is a processing fee of 70dollars. Is this a good or a bad thing? Still, I do not have ideas regarding on how to spot bogus journals or not. Your response would be a great deal for us young researchers. Thank you! More power!

There are many things we have to look as a researcher before publishing. Choosing a good journal is the first thing. Basically you can publish your material even if it's trash in some journals (who are greedy just for money). So plz first find good journals in your particular topic, which is well indexed and doing blind review process. Look at the impact factor of the journal. If all seems good then you are good to go. I'm an ophthalmologist. So all the good journals don't charge us for publication (only minor charges for coloured images). But lesser impact poorly indexed journals charge much much more. Basically that's 'pay to publish' type of journal.

I have seen many people around who send the articles in many journals at the same time and when it gets accepted in one of them, they withdraw from others. You can't guarantee that they will accept , you don't know how long you have to wait.
