Don't know if anyone will read this at all, but I'm just happy and I want to share. Around one year ago today, I met this kid in my P.E class. He was a year older than me, and super tall and awkward and kinda playfully mean. I got paired with him for volleyball, and i was like YO you're like 7'10000 why don't you try??? Asking him would you rather questions, what his favorite movie was, desperately trying to get more than one word answers. Finally, he just said "goodnight" out of the blue. All the confidence that I had to talk to my crush was shattered. I cried a lot that night. Idk, I'd never had a crush before, and for some reason I felt like we'd get along. And maybe I was wrong. The next day, I woke up to a snapchat from him asking for my phone number. I was so happy man, all I can remember is feeling like there was a possibility I'd mean something to someone, and I was like, okay maybe he's a jerk, but that night he dumped out all his feelings to me. We talked on the phone every night for weeks. Now, we've been together a year. He talks me through panic attacks, stays up with me every night to sing me to sleep, and is my one and only. I'd like to share my story with you all. A year ago I was in a toxic relationship where I was cheated on consistently, but I let it happen because I was blinded by the image I created of my then boyfriend in my head. Around that same time, I met someone new in my Biology class. He was tall, really thin, and always listens to music like this. He's the reason I'm listening to this today, actually. As soon as we met something clicked inside of me. Hearing his laugh sent butterflies through my stomach. Seeing his smile was my motivation to come to school everyday. In the summer, my then boyfriend finally left. And that same night I asked him, why don't you date anyone? He had never dated anyone before. He then told me he had never planned on dating until college. Of course, this put my hopes down a little bit, but I then proceeded to tell him how I felt. The feeling I got when I saw him and we spent time together-- it was absolutely magical. And then he told me that he liked me as well. This boy had no intentions of dating until college, and now he has been my boyfriend for five months. His smile still makes my day and his laugh still puts butterflies in my stomach. This reminds me of what I like to call my first “love” we were in high school, so this boy named James, we had met on Twitter and we both went to different schools. when he messaged me one day in April that he would be taking a bus from his new home to my school that would then take him to another bus to take him to his other old school since he was about to graduate he couldn’t get enrolled in my high school because of different credit requirements, but anyhow I was a sophomore and he was a senior. Both of us took morning buses to get to school, he would get there 15 mins before I did and he would wait for me there by a bench everyday. We would hang out every morning talk about small random things that went on in our lives. I still remember because we both were so shy we didn’t know how to start a conversation sometimes and he would begin them by complimenting the weather or someone’s outfit or whatever i was wearing that day. We usually only had about 10 or 15 mins to hang out before I had to leave to class. We would always hug as if it was going to be our last time seeing each other. Those hugs always had my heart beating so hard against my chest, my adrenaline rushing, head spinning. I couldn’t even think right. He made me feel high. That summer he tried to get close to me and asked me to be his girlfriend but I pushed him away because of my own insecurities, because I thought I was out of his league. I regret not being with him when he needed me. I regret not kissing him when he wanted to kiss me. I was just trying to save myself from getting hurt from anybody. He’s someone that I will never forget.

I first listened to this because I often say to my boyfriend that his smile and his laugh are "my most favorite things in the world", so when I saw this I thought it might be really cute. Come to find it brings up so many memories for me... My first kiss was back when I was in high school and my boyfriend and I were both hadn't had our first kiss yet. He and I used to meet behind the science building and discuss chemistry(he's a chemist now and I'm an astrophysicist), but on one of our first dates, we were just talking back there and laughing and enjoying ourselves. He and I had never been affectionate to other people before so we had to put in physical effort to try to show our love(and now how sad that sounds :D). I tried to kiss him on the cheek but he moved away like he was weirded out by it. Later on in the day when we were a lot more comfortable, I tried again but I verbally warned him first. Just as I leaned in, he turned his head(he later explained to me that he thought I was trying to kiss him on the lips not the cheek) and we had such a soft, timid kiss. We both said nothing afterward, because we were both shocked and red and enamored by the whole situation, but to this day, it is his favorite moment in our relationship and what he claims to be the best kiss we ever had(but if you ask me, it was pretty bad). Every time I listen to this playlist, I think of that moment...

Story time! So there's this guy in my batch who's in my group of friends and we hang out together a lot and I talk to him every night over chat. I never wanted to admit that I have this stupid little crush on him until recently when he told all of us that he was moving to another country in July, I've never been so down in my life and right now all I want to do is make this boy smile as many times as possible before he goes. Because honestly, that smile is my favorite thing in this world.

Apparently he saw me on the first day and he thought I was pretty but he didn't talk to me because he was shy. We became friends but I never texted much because im a horrible texter. We went on a school trip eventually where I got dumped by this girl I was dating, but it didn't bother me much because I kept thinking about him and wanting to spend time with him. So we'd talk through notes and he'd leave my favourite chocolates in the pockets for me, he'd walk me to class and we'd talk about the deepest things. One day I had enough and I asked him if he liked me and he confessed. So we went on a date and became official. We'd stay up late and laugh and talk about our future and it was so beautiful. We'd cuddle for hours and talk about the dumbest things. I'd cry and he'd always support me. He's my best friend and sometimes I feel he's the only one who understands me. Things got hard when we took each other for granted and we broke up but we got back together. And it wasn't like before. we didn't need constant declarations of love, it was like a friendship but deeper. That's how you know its real love, the honeymoon phase just increases your expectations. You know you've found a keeper when you'd rather talk and watch movies than go on a romantic date and get gifted a ring. He's going to America for college now and I'm going to Australia. I'm hoping one day that the picture of the two people talking at the balcony will be us :) here's to hoping for the best .

One of my most memorable experiences with my first relationship was in my freshman year of HS. We were on a class trip to see a Holocaust museum. At the time, things were kind of complicated between us. The year prior, we had confessed our feelings for each other. It was GREAT. She was the first ever person I actually loved that way? But anyways, a month after the confession we kinda drifted apart. I blame myself for that bc I was dumb and insecure. Also we just didnt know how to deal with these newfound feelings for each other. So on the day of the trip. We pretty much hung out together the entire time. We were pretty much just friends at the time, but I was still head over heels for this girl. Nothing really happens until the bus drives us back to the school. We started listening to music together. I was showing her new music and she was showing me songs she liked. I remembered she put on "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Beegees and halfway through the song she layed her head on my shoulder. I remember freaking out internally, but feeling so happy ya know? It was the first time anyone had ever done that to me. Then once we got off the bus, she hugged me for the first time (i wasnt very fond of hugs, but obviously i didnt mind her giving me one). It was such a warm and tender hug, MAN. I cherish that day even though im no longer with this person. I was just one of those experiences ya know?

When we were kids, for most of us (excluding those with truly tragic beginnings) the world was bright and full of opportunity. We felt joy. Nowadays joy has a bad rap. Men are supposed to look very destructive. Drinking and drugs are the hip new lifestyle and are ubiquitous. And women feel immense societal pressure to do things that really aren't from their hearts. This is my all time favorite mix! I remember when I was 16, I had just discovered lofi music. This specific playlist was one of the first that i've ever discovered and I instantly fell in love. I remember jumping on my trampoline and laying down to watch the sunset from my backyard as these sweet melodies of the music captured the essence of the aesthetic. In those moments, I remember daydreaming about my true love, and when I was going to meet him as I was reading through this wholesome comment thread with the absolute cutest stories ever!

Oh, everybody is sharing so i might as well. The second time we went out. It was on his birth day. The celebration at least. It was a while ago, not gonna lie. I don't really remember much of the day, it's kinda hazy in my mind. But i remember the look in his eyes as he gave me the biggest smiles I've seen him crack. It was a late settling afternoon and all i remember was he was waiting for me to make the move. Now, mind you---I've never kissed before. So the kiss was like a peck but by accident. It was like a shoujo manga or a kdrama scene haha. As i was saying; i moved in closer to kisses his cheek softly. But I guess I moved in so suddenly, it startled the both of us and he turns his head around. Both of our lips touched and i remember both of our faces blew up into blushiness. That was our only best kiss. He isn't even a good kisser from that day on lol. After that I pulled away and quickly said "no no no I was trying to kiss your face! Not thee lips! Aaaa" and then i and him started to laugh really hard and i covered my face with my snapback cap. As he told me, "boy if you weren't wearing that hat to cover your face; i would have kissed you a lot more. your the cutest thing I've come across today." It's still a pretty good memory to have.. Hearing this playlist reminds me of my boyfriend. I got butterflies the first day I met him. He's sweet, funny, handsome, charming, and caring. We share a lot of the same interests and he's been getting me into really cool hobbies like Dungeons and Dragons and playing the guitar. We both love video games, have the same taste in music, and are introverted. We're now dating (a very new relationship) and we're beyond happy together. I wasn't looking for a relationship but he came into the picture and changed my mind and heart. 🙈❤

I'm back 2 years later. Heres my story now. I liked a guy for 3 whole months. I couldn't even look him in the eyes. I was head over heels! But he sort of liked another girl.... So. Last i heard this playlist was on December 27th 2018. Right after this play list.. you know having read all the stories of everyone... I decided to grow some balls and tell my crush i liked him at 4am. Via text haha.. It was weird.. i was crying because i was so emotional because of the music. Which rarely happens. So I sent the message, and fell asleep. I woke with a long ass answer from him. First him being proud of me for gaining confidence (the weird thing was for the 3 months i knew him he would always try and tell me things to make me confident.. but really i was just dying inside that he was even talking to me.) And he liked that! I told him not to talk to me for a month because i felt uncomfortable. Lo and behold he messages me 3 days into this vow of silence. It was awfully funny to me, why? Idk well it was probably nerves but he was just tlaking about videogames and stuff while i was doing chores. I jokingly made a remark that the month isnt over and he said he doesnt like to follow the rules(cheesy). Skip to january 4. School started and he was just so charming to me. Everything he did. The way he spoke. The way he walked. Perfect. I still couldn't look him in the eye but it was a very fun month. He asked me out on a date! We went to watch a movie and went to a cute small cafe.. we spent an hour or 2 on the balcony just talking and joking around.. i was in his arms... my heart was dping backflips the whole night. It came time for me to get taken home. But right before we left. He held me in his arms and we looked into eachothers eyes. I got scared.. at this point i had never kissed a boy. He told me " you just need a few seconds of absolute bravery. You can do it" and i went in for a kiss. I cant even begin to explain how amazing it felt.. i wanted to do it again but i was still really nervous. I got to kiss him on the cheek again before i left. After that we just hit it off... today is our 2 year anniversary. I'm still head over heels in love with him. He's still as charming as ever.

Story Time!!!!!!:) Around elementary school i joined band yay! At that time i noticed a little boi. He was smaller than me so thats why i noticed him at first. Didn’t think much of it tho🤷‍♀️ fast forward to middle school and he was in the same band class as me!:) he was still short but around that time we got to know each other☺️ he would always say when would give him my hair 💇‍♀️ jokingly of course🙃 We we’re friends ig but i had a small crush on him. going into 9 grade he quit band and we didn’t have any classes together outside of band so we became distant. Entering high school him and i still talked and i still liked him but started an old friend became defensive and confronted him😤 they didn’t fight physically but i felt horrible about what happened between them. So i walked out and did myself for awhile. I dated other guys and he did his own thing💔 after so time my friend invited me to go with her to the county fair. While we were waiting in line for a ride she saw the boy, she called out his name and i looked to see him. He walked our way and i couldn’t stop smiling😁 he noticed that i was cold so he gave me his gloves(how sweet ❤️) he then held my hand😏 at first i was confused but i gave in and held his hand back💕 it was getting late and i had to leave. He gave he the biggest hug like he never wanted to let go and i didn’t neither. He and i started to catch up and started to talk again:) days later he asked me out💖 And we’ve been together since and every day its a blessing to spend with him💗 and i never want it to go away 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not to be a party pooper, There are some really nice vibes and good people in the comment's but I have no one to talk to and I feel like getting all of this off my shoulders with help me feel a bit better. My mom and dad are getting separated and my mom has fallen for another woman. I support her but it still hurts. We already have financial problems and my dad is struggling with work, now I have to grow up and get a job to help him pay for the bills, because my mom wont be there anymore. at 6:10 the song from spirited away came on and I started to cry. I remember my childhood, how my mom and dad used to smile at each other, and the vacations we had. Sometimes we become comfortable with a spot of our life and then it take a 180 turn, and just throws you off your feet. when I was a little girl I used to say I couldn't wait to grow up, now I just want to be a little kid again... THIS IS PRETTY LONG BUT I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT! So I had a crush on this boy in my school musical (what can I say i'm a theatre nerd). We were really awkward around each other since we weren't close and didn't really know each other. We only passed by each other in the hallways and barely talked during rehearsals. He was my best friend's friend and she hung out with him all the time during rehearsals so I was always around him. Now this is my freshman year of high school btw. I was kinda obsessed and figured we didn't have to start dating nw, we had the rest of high school to get together. I told my best friend who my crush was and she told me that he liked someone else so I was a little upset. I just figured I'd start to loose my feelings. Another crush that ended not as expected. So I tried my best to stop thinking about him but I found it really hard. "But you don't know him, you barely talk" I kept telling myself until it worked. At least I thought I did. Over the summer I liked someone new but I knew it wasn't going anywhere. When summer ended I stopped thinking about my crush in the lovey dovey way. I just wanted to actually be his friend. I come back to school for sophomore year and find out that my crush has almost the exact same schedule as me. I was a little nervous considering I had a huge crush on him and the fact that I barely knew him so it would be awkward again. We started becoming friends during our 1st period class since we only knew each other in that class. It was the best. We made a bunch of inside jokes and he became one of my closest friends. I looked forward to seeing him everyday so that we could talk and hang out more. Everything was great and I got want I wanted: to be his friend. I even developed new crushes who I knew didn't like me back but it was fun to catch feelings for another person again. But then my crush/friend got a girlfriend. I didn't know why it bothered me a little bit. I was kinda upset and mad deep inside but I was happy for them. That was my friend so I was happy for my friend. Besides I have a crush of my own. Until they break up. And my friend was crushed. I did the best thing I knew how to do, make him laugh and smile and talk to him. That's when I realised that I still liked him. I really really liked him. We joined the school musical again this year and would sneak out of rehearsals to go fool around. But he didn't know I liked him. He would grab my hand and pull my somewhere new and my heart would just go crazy. "but that's your FRIEND! You can't have a crush on your FRIEND" i told myself but it barely worked. it honestly hurt a lot, fighting with myself but i wouldn't let go. This one day in rehearsals was the one of the best days of my life. My crush/friend was acting a little funny to me. He was a lot more chipper and energetic and would not leave my side. I mean we always hung out and were always with each other but this time it was different. He was singing in my ear while i tried to sing the romantic duet with my scene partner. He came up to me and hugged me at random times. And we just couldn't stop looking at each other. I thought my brain was playing tricks on me and that it wasn't all real. I called my best friend as I walked home and told her about everything. I told her how I definitely have to get over him now bc i'm lying to myself. At home I was texting my crush and we were joking like usual. Then I get a text from my best friend saying that I should tell him that I like him. I told her I wouldn't do, and din't want to do that to myself but she begged me to do it so I agreed. I texted my grush "i gotta tell you something.... wow i'm shaking rn but I have a crush on you. Thought you should know that" and after a few minutes that felt like a few hours I got a response saying "wow was not expecting that but i mean.. same 😭😭" and i died right there on my bed. I was so happy. Then literally a few days later, quarantine started so we haven't seen each other for 3 almost 4 months. We spent everyday talking to each other and it was just amazing. And just a few days ago he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!!

Alright, I never put comments like this on videos, but since everyone's sharing their love stories... My boyfriend and I met in my freshman year, his sophomore year of high school. We starting hanging out during robotics club meetings and worked a fundraiser together. We spent the whole night together at a school allnighter party and started dating shortly after. My previous relationship was ill-fated and abusive and I had a lot of emotional baggage, including PTSD, depression, and bad anxiety, but with his endless love and patience, I have long since worked through everything with him. We have been together for almost 10 years and are looking at marriage soon. I am in love with him now more than ever and couldn't be more grateful that he's in my life. ❤ Never give up on finding someone just right for you. Suddenly thought of this playlist a minute ago and I’m so surprised and happy to see that its up again! When I first got into lo-fi this playlist was my favorite, to listen to it again really brings back a lot of beautiful memories of an easier time.
