I don't think your failing Jesus. You may be failing yourself, just like people that eat too much sugar or processed food. I think when we fail in works of the flesh, then comes the problem of failing Jesus. These include acts of sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, and orgies. These behaviors are in contrast to the “fruit of the Spirit,” which are listed in the following verse (Galatians 5:22-23). Trust in his infinite love for you and his blood for the remission of sin. That's faith and that's pleasing to the Lord.

Jesus warned his own, and spoke to his own in the last days, to "take heed, let no man deceive you." That doesnt sound like we cannot be deceived. If Jesus said we ought to take heed that no man deceive us, IM TAKING HEED AS THOUGH THERE IS THAT POSSIBILITY!!! I know how you’re feeling, it’s tough. I used to always fall into sexual sin, specifically pornography. Fasting & staying close to the word has really helped. God set me free from that & I have no lustful desires anymore! I still battle with thoughts here & there but I have total control over it now, they don’t consume me like before. I thank Jesus for that breakthrough & He can release you from any sin you’re struggling with. Seek Him with all your heart. Fasting, if you’re able, is extremely helpful & vital in my opinion when it comes to reaching a breakthrough.
