Your Studio and You is a comedy short film created in 1995 by Matt Stone and Trey Parker and commissioned by comedic filmmaker David Zucker. It was to be played at a party Seagram threw for its employees acquired as a result of its Universal Studios take-over. It parodies the style of 1950s educational films such as Duck and Cover, while poking fun at Universal and its talent. It was shot in the Universal Studios backlot

This was a film that David Zucker commissioned Trey and Matt to do for a party Segram's threw for its employees after Universal bought the company. They wrote the script for it in an hour. Lol. I have this on "tape." Me and some other tram tour guides had a bootleg distribution network of this film for the rank and file... Those were some fun days on the old backlot tour. Literally almost lost my job for it. So many of us incorporated this video into our tram tours between 1996-1998. "Oh the humanity..." In honor of Parker/Stone, we named the guy in the canoe in the Jaws attraction "Kenny..." It was all downhill from there... ;) They were also down there shooting "Baseketball" so we had some impromptu interactions that cracked up the tourists when we would talk in that "voice..." We survived, but to this day, I always add or invoke a porcelain deer for decoration in as many corporate videos as I can...

Calling a character who's minority "political" is weird because they are just existing. Most of the time it's people hiding their bigotry. I'm Filipino and I've seen a lot of American media showing support for Filipino Americans. We weren't represented back then. Stories before the 2010s always been political like War of the Worlds, To Kill a Mocking Bird, 1984, Wall-E, etc. Most of the time when people say "keep politics out of entertainment" translates to "keep politics I don't agree with out of entertainment."

I messaged him on AOL after I found his profile in the late ‘90s (actually right around this time, a bit after the the self-titled album on Mojo came out) and he messaged me back, which was very cool. And then a year or two later I saw Goldfinger at what was the best concert I’ve ever attended to this day, and I got on stage and got a drumstick from Darrin and stagedived into the crowd, Feldman encouraged everyone to run on stage. I was like 13, it was awesome. So crazy to see him among all these true legends in a video directed by Matt and Trey, a couple years before Southpark premiered on Comedy Central lol. The ‘90s and 2000s kicked ass, glad I grew up then instead of in this crazy world of today.
