I believe this "Character" showed more of Bryshere's range as an actor. The Empire storylines can be kinda corny to me but to see him actually playing someone real is so cool.They naturally sound alike but you can tell he studied Biv hard! That bawston is thicke.

Bryshere Gray is good enough as an actor to get an Oscar (or at least an Emmy for his work on "Empire"). When I saw "The New Edition Story", not once did I think, "Oh , look at 'Hakeem' playing Michael Bivins!" At times, I thought I was looking at the real Michael Bivins.

After watching all THREE episodes of, "The New Edition Story," on the BET channel, all I can say is OMG.....Mike could not have chosen a better person to impersonate him in what I consider to be the BEST documentary EVER!!! Bryshere did you justice Mike--not just in looks but also in mannerisms, voice, AND technique!!!! I'm looking forward to watching ALL of y'all walk up on the stages of the 2017 BET Awards as well as the Emmy's and any and all awards shows to receive your just (overdue) Awards!!!

To be honest, I wasn't sure about Bryshere being Biv. I felt like they were trying to use his Empire fame to sell it. But he's doing an excellent job in the role based on the trailers I've seen.

Oh my gosh! Bryshere has went to a whole different level. I swear he was my least favorite character on Empire, to my favorite in this movie. His acting skills are great. I love his attitude in this interview, and I'm starting crush on him a lil That smile is so sweet.

THE best movie I've ever watched! It was so real, and showed true friendship. And I think that's what is missing from people nowadays. I cried at the end of the movie it was so evolutionary. Oh and that scene where they had to make a decision to kick out Bobby was the best! It was so real and they all had to do what they had to do.

Bry's resume is looking beautiful already. He's definitely a talented actor.

I must admit, I was VERY hesitant about "Hakeem" because his acting on Empire isn't the best so I was nervous. BUT, he killed it!!!! He did such an amazing job, he really made me feel like I was watching Mike Biv lol. All of the guys did great but Yaz surprised me. I love the movie, I keep watching it on OnDemand lol
