@@djshock5353 I don't think that was a thing, although Kanna did mention they ran out of green tea ice cream at one point, and she blamed it on Kugie, but that was a different Incident™. Wait, hold on, I'm having a brain blast moment right now, but like... stupidly? Okay so, Kanna's memory paints her as the one who eats most out of the two, but y'know the Green Tea Incident I mentioned? Kanna mentions how Kugie always chose that flavor, except for that day when Kanna picked something else since they ran out, which she blames entirely on her sister, but Sara points out it must have been unrelated issues with the shop's supply rather than Kugie just eating all of it. Furthermore, although Kugie went to that shop on her own for some time before the both of them started frequenting it, I assumed this happened with the two of them present... HOWEVER. What if this is supposed to serve as a punchline to Sara's correction? No Sara, Kugie DID eat all the green tea ice cream! That's why the clerk smirked! The girl is unstoppable, and if left unchecked, no survivors will remain. THIS! Is proof! ...Or you know maybe it _was_ just the two of them... And or... Sara simply wasn't wrong here either. Uh, could be. M-Maybe. ...But yeah uhh, the clerk is implied to have been Midori for a pretty good while, so if he had some sort of reason for it, like trying to make her see the performance specifically when she did, he totally could have just fabricated the whole situation, which uh, by the way, may in fact have been my initial reaction to that comment before this whole tangent happened... 🥴 Although it showing us Kugie would be pretty weird if he was lying, wouldn't it? Since it's not like Anzu would know about her anyway, and unless the friend is secretly from Asunaro (:scream: ...I mean she could be), she clearly didn't either. Probably the truth then? Well I guess it would've been weird for Ryuu to have called Anzu in as a volunteer while she was still having her ice cream, no? So even if she showed up to watch at the same time, I suppose things still wouldn't have been the same. Hmm. Would be funny though if they _were_ accounting for Anzu buying ice cream but Kugie just went and bought it all first, and yet in the end it just didn't really affect their scheme at all.

yeah its pretty cool that we now have a specific place of memory for anzu!! before I just kinda assumed all the students shared the classroom IG the reason she doesn't comment on is is probably that it just wasn't decided upon on release if I had to guess since iirc anzu also mentioned she made her own outfit but in this she was gifted it (though the text could be updated in the steam version idk I just got as far as chapter 1 on my replay)

@@daraactualtrash Yeah, I thought about that, if it was specifically Sara and Joe's class or if it was more general. Your Time To Shine had another variant as well, but it used some other rooms alongside it for presumed lore reasons, soo ultimately it didn't actually tell us much. Yeah I think Nankidai just deciding this later was probably the reason. I wonder if he would've made it a bit more mundane lookin' had he written this first. That said though, it's not like it straight up wouldn't make sense that she wouldn't comment on it anyway, after all, every Dummy was notably quiet at that moment since they were confronting Midori again while Mai and Q-taro were in the cemetery, and I mean even Kurumada only spoke out about Keiji's room possibly being his once it was explained to him that it wasn't. It's just that _now, retroactively_ it's a bit disappointing not to have seen it acknowledged, even if it's still a pretty neat addition in the end. Y'know, for some time after Midori leaves, we can go back to that room but there's nothing to do there since it can't be used as a boss arena anymore, so, maybe if Nankidai had thought of this earlier, we could've had like Anzu fade in and start an interaction upon entering that room again. Well I actually can't remember if there's ever a point you can go back there with Anzu following us, while the group also isn't in a major hurry, so it'd have to depend on that... Which could have made it super obscure if it was included, actually. I haven't heard of it being updated but I also wouldn't really know. Unless there's a secret plot reason, I would honestly hope it has been since it's such a minor detail, and like, Nankidai already changed the "your parents" line to "your family" during Joe's death, so it'd kinda unfortunate if he did it for that but not this one. As for a potential plot explanation though, there's a theory that Anzu said what she did as a result of Asunaro meddling with her doll's memories, due to Ryuu, under the theory, being a relative of Hinako, and so they wanted to prevent Anzu from recognizing her as an imposter, especially if Anzu did ever manage to get in contact with Ryuu, since that would've opened the possibility for her actually _meeting_ fake Hinako. Presumably the whole "hey Ryuu come back also btw Anzu gtfo" thing was always a ploy to have Anzu never see him again though, and I'd say it probably worked, but we don't actually know. That theory is part of why I mentioned Anzu forgetting it actually, 'cause like maybe the relevancy of the plaza would be reduced in her mind if she can only vaguely remember Ryuu now. The rest of why is that she's Anzu, and her forgetting her place of memories is kinda funny. We also don't know what her wish was, but since only Sara didn't sign the form, the human Anzu's memories must have been manipulated too. Perhaps it would've extended to the outfit's origin if it was at all related to her wish? Either way, her taking notice of the outfit's weirdness could potentially have been inconvenient to Asunaro, so maybe it's as simple as them just rectifying that mistake while they were erasing some other memories anyway? That option would explain why she'd simultaneously mention she made the outfit herself while also still alluding to Ryuu's existence before the Banquet. Who knows. Of course, the most obvious answer is that indeed, Nankidai just hadn't thought of it yet and forgot/disregarded it, but we do a little theorizing. Oh WOW, that's a _lot_ more text than I was expecting, my bad.

Nothing wrong with reusing assets. There's a stigma that reusing means bad or lazy, when it is not. Making backgrounds actually take a lot of time to get it right when it comes to angles. That being said, it is possible it is the same school.
