Actually 3:59 yes a company can indeed require a dress code as a 1099 contractor just like a truck driver has to wear a hard hat in some facilities. If you do insurance as a contractor, you going to meetings in flip-flops? I think not.

My area near Chicago its $22-$24. Once you do about 20 deliveries, you get higher paying ones, even recieved a $100 order once...been doing it a yr and a half

The average order pay in my market is $20 to $30. In order to see the big $50+ orders require a certain number of orders and a minimum customer rating, and volume is low. I would recommend 3+ XL bags, and a cart is required when you get to the large orders.

FYI, vehicle has to be 2005 or newer. I went through the signup, got the text to download the app and complete my profile. I went to add my vehicle VIN in the app and was unable to add it. Support told me for their commercial insurance, the vehicle must be 2005 or newer.

It’s not true most ziftys drops are 19 bucks. They do occasionally have others. The more saturated the more lower the pay got.

It sure looks like Zifty isn't paying the drivers the full tip amount. Zifty said a 15% tip would be added to orders of $100 or more. Then you showed an order for $599.85 15% of $599 is $89.97, yet the driver will only make $24.00?! Where is the rest of the money going? Hmmm.

There might be a maximum tip amount ? It’s pretty rough expecting a customer to pay a $90 driver tip when they’ve just paid a premium amount for food and delivery. in a restaurant it’s different because there would usually be 6-7 people contributing $15 each

DD sent me a catering order from McDonalds, with 28 items, paying a total of $7.90 going over 12 miles one way.😂😂 No way I was going to do that.

Thanks for watching, lighting is tricky I have two Elgato Key lights. That Philips Hue lights you're seeing are quite strong so I need to make sure colors are accurate without too much color bleed on skin tones. Probably more detail than you were expecting 😂

Mike, please include that this company will not accept your vehicle if it is older than 2005 (for delivering food, not people?) nothing like filling out paperwork and then, "oh by the way, your vehicle (no matter how well maintained, no matter you experience or driving record) wont work....

I've done a few catering runs on DeliverThat, they're even more tightly run regarding prep/arrival times I feel which means you should actually have less wait time than traditional food delivery.

Very true but at least it's on your radar, what I do is bookmark websites then check back in every few months or so. That or if they have a waitlist, that's ideal because then they'll reach out ASAP when they launch in your market

I hear you, I imagine it's the market conditions for catering so no large businesses to source orders. Events, parties, clubs etc could still order catering though

Tips traditionally are pretty solid on catering orders, even a 10% tip on a standard office order of $300 is great for the time. I think that's one of the good things about catering platforms, companies are going to still tip a percentage and that's not affected by platform changes.

Yeah it’s all the KZfaqrs blabbing about everything. They are the real ones who are messing everything up for drivers. Anytime something comes out or happens on a gig app they go spreading it like a wildfire. It’s really starting to make me real mad. It’s like if you find out something good just keep quiet everyone and their grandma doesn’t need to know about it

@@YourDriverMike the problem is the when the companies get big they start tip pooling so now that instead of what one order gets a big tip gets reduced because of other orders are not so good so they mAke up for it out of the good ones
