Aussies face a wide ranging problems from higest intake of migrants. in Feb 2024, it was reported shocking 700,000 were accepted. it was also for political votes reasons. this has angered Aussies strongly.

@@HankSydney Whoever planned those intake should be sacked. They didn't take into consideration the current situation especially housing and infrastructure. Given our unemployment rate is rising, also the hyperinflation that is about to hit post December when interest rates go higher. Jim Chalmers' lesser tax is going to be a double whammy.

Australia has a very low population and many resources but life has become harder because corrupt politicians in the Government and corrupt policies. During covid small businesses were forced to close because of lockdowns, many people lost their jobs, health issues have gone much higher. An average Australian family finds it hard to put food on the table buy a small house or even pay rent .

Why government gave a student visa first? answer this, and then said not come in Australia ? who is issuing the visas??? First they issued countless student visas to people all around the world, and when they took money from students- then ok you can go home now no post graduate visa for you. Such a shameful Government. They are like schizophrenics- they may gonna change their minds for 6 months. You can't trust them. Btw I'm not affected.

Australia has seen what is happening in Europe, Latin America, in the United States with that mass immigration with mostly criminals, and what is affecting those countries culturally and economically. Australia cannot allow this to happen in Australia, and is creating mechanisms to receive good people and not people with bad habits, such as Venezuelans and Dominicans in particular.

I live in Australia. The rents are out of control. Housing prices are 13x the average income. Even if you are on 100k if you have a family this amount is not enough. What exactly are you uprooting yourself from your native country for. In my case we were in one of the crime capitals of the world. It should be a major reason to go through all this hardship and you may drop quality of life living in a small apartment.

Thank you very much for the information. One issue I've seen is for healthcare programs (e.g. Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy) New Zealand doesn't seem to have graduate-entry Masters options, so one has to do a Bachelors again even if they have a Bachelors already from their home country. But in Australia they have the graduate-entry Masters programs

Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and the USA are having 10-15% unemployment which is increasing continuously. These are local citizens who don't have jobs, with high rents of $2000 per month in all these nations, grocery 500-1000$ per month, if you come as a student you will risk everything you invest, note this carefully 😢

Australia doesn’t have a problem with migration. They have issues with people who come to Australia on a temporary visa and do visa hopping. People who are coming here on student visa then go to 485 then again on student visa. This makes them “temporary permanent” . Also this video doesn’t state all the facts.

Australian Taxpayers so often are living in Cars & cannot afford a Home! We do not have the Resources here to support a large Population. The Country is two thirds Desert!! For be sake if our own People we now need to shut down Immigration until the Country gets back on its feet! Our Resources like Medical, Transport, supply of Electricitity, Schooling are all stretched to the limit. The Politicians just appear to have no idea as they live in a "Political Bubble". It does not have much substance to it. Please stop promoting and promising a rosy NZ or Australia where the reality id far away from your videos. All the parents who take loans, sell their houses, properties in order to pay for their children's fees to be able to study in these countries are not wealthy people. When majority of these students struggle to make ends meet, you would trick their parents to sacrifice their everything and that is not fair. So own up and give them the full and true picture and allow them to decide based on the truth, please...

Hello, unknown person! In this digital age, I can access information from any corner of the world by visiting government websites. However, to ensure accuracy, I've invited an expert to discuss the topic. Regarding the podcast, Victor emphasized that agents often mislead students, leading to unexpected challenges when they arrive in Australia. The video aims to highlight the importance of thorough research by students, rather than blindly following agents' advice Source of information in this video : • immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/news-media/archive/article?itemId=1211 • 485 visa changes : immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/temporary-graduate-485/changes • New citizenship application fees from 1 July 2024 : www.homeaffairs.gov.au/news-media/archive/article?itemId=1217 Work condition changes : immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/news-media/archive/article?itemId=1213

Decades ago, after studies, most (or all) oveseas students have to leave australia. this was practised decades ago. It is not a new thing. if they want to return to Australia, then they apply to enter. Student visa, is NOT a resident visa. this is fully justified by Australia govt to lessen the problems caused by high migration. there is no indication that if suitable migrants are needed in Australia, they can still get visa from the huge intake still. cutting intake is the right thing to do.

Having been in Oz for over 5yrs. Like Canada & the Uk and inflation is even high there, no different.. I know Oz & NZ is now wanting highly qualified people with experience and at a medium age. Both countries are having issues with housing but if you study medical qualification but NOT a diploma but Uni medical qualification.Tourist Visa is also going to stop it being changed to work visa..

Education & gaining skills was never ment to be a pipeline to citizenship. The developing world will never progress if people don't go home with that knowledge & use it. This is a good thing. If people want to live in Australia, apply to live here like others have to.

Please don’t misguide people, New Zealand is already struggling with large inflow of migrants themselves, inflation is high & job market is not diverse. More over the country is very expensive. If anybody wants to goto NZ please do your research yourself & don’t rely on immigration advisors. They will not tell you about real struggles.

We are working professionals from India. We got our 190 invitation from VIC in April 2023 and applied for the VISA grant. It’s been 15 months and we are still waiting. The worst part is that prior to the PR we got a TR from South Australia and applied for VISA grant. So in total we have currently paid almost ₹9lakhs and now we see such news coming in various channels on Australian immigration situation. Feels like being cheated as Australia didn’t refund the TR we cancelled & we are yet to get a definitive answer on when we will get the VISA and if we get it should we go for it. Ideally if the situation is this bad Australian govt should have allowed refund on our applications so that people could choose.
