The entire EP is killer and something brand new. I can't believe how much I love it. I was worried that when Angelina came out with new, more modern music she'd be leaving us old-timers behind. I shouldn't have been. She's never let me down. The last song, 'Diamond', my personal favourite, is simply amazing - confident, sassy, no apologies, wonderful.😎

I was rather ambivalent after listening to her EP the first time but I knew this was due to a lack of my musical acumen. The vocal and style have gone into another sphere and her emotional expressions are like a seasoned performer....then again she has had 15.5 years of being in the limelight!!

Fun reaction. Part of Angelina's brilliance in her prosody is that she changes the pronunciation and dynamics of words (even syllables) to better reflect they're actual meaning. Listen for it.

Hi Juliet 👋. Love your zealous reaction and wonderful info and comments 👍. She did write all 6 songs on her EP. She said she has written at least a 100 songs so far. Remember she was writing songs back at 10 and 11. Really can't wait for you to buy download and react to the rest of her songs which are visualizers. Your going to love them. Another great reaction, full of enthusiasm and perceptive commentary. How do you do it, YOSC? Angelina really roped me in with this one. Her ability to convey authentic emotion in her singing is really in full effect. The entire EP is so fierily fireful, but Now I'm The Fool will always hold a special place in my heart.

This debut EP clearly demonstrates that Angelina is the only artist that combines multiple genres in one song. It is for these reasons why we all say, we never know what Angelina is going to do next and she never disappoints us. Collectively speaking, Angelina always leaves us adoring fans excited and anxious to see what she has for us. Angelina is a trail blazer, in that “Diamond” has jazz, funk, rap and pop elements that are articulately and artfully weaved into the tapestry of the overall composition and arrangement.

There's no filler in this EP. You haven't heard the best yet. 😀 They're all terrific, but I think they get better and better the further into it you go.

Thanks for your great reaction and comments along with your support. As you know, this is one of Angelina's new songs on her newly released EP, Old Enough. There are six other songs on KZfaq! The EP is about love and hurt, and then recovery and strength on the other end. We don't know whether it's a boy, or family or whether it's fictitious. However, we know Angelina is able to convey emotion for events she has not experienced. Angelina has come of age, and we all miss the young girl but cherish the new. Her vocals have matured, her technique also. And what I noticed most in the videos is that she has gone from just standing at the microphone while singing, to using her body and her hands and her facial expressions to express the already present vocal emotion. The passion is palpable. Wonderful reaction as always and please respond to Angelina's requests to purchase and stream her music from all digital media. Encourage your viewers to do the same. Grammy on a Multiple Scale, Scale

Every time Angelina goes into that high, I call it her "cry", it kills me. She did in most clearly in my memory, in Bohemian Rhapsody (the first time I heard it). Then she used it to tear our hearts out in her live version of "Million Miles" in her concert series in Norway in July/Aug 2022. I love your reactions, always, but your enthusiasm with this cut made me so happy! Thank you.

To me the two songs Good in Goodbye and Diamond are anthems to her adult life. Diamond reflects her new music and Good in Goodbye in lyrically astonishing. Listen to that one closely.

Yes, all the songs on this EP are at least this good and many are a mix of genres. Remarkable lyrics, versatile vocals everything about it is excellent.

Angelina, not only are you among the greatest singers in the music business, you are also one of the greatest lyricists in the business. This has been my default and lazy comment for all the songs on ‘Old Enough’. I apologize to Angelina, all the Angels, and reactors. I am now going to attempt to rate the songs on the EP. The first thing that I’ll make clear is that this is my opinion and as time goes on I may change my mind, but here goes. The top of my list is ‘Diamond’ - very powerful, her statement about the real start of her career.- she seems to be saying that the past is gone and this is my future. Next is ‘Fire And Rain’ - in this song she is saying that she is strong enough to face the future, and as long as the Angels stay by her side she will grow stronger and stronger. Next is ‘Now I’m The Fool’ - this is a very sophisticated look at someone being jilted. I hope it wasn’t Angelina. She is so good at expressing the emotions of others that I don’t think it was her, however, the end of the song is so powerful that it may make you reconsider. . Next is ‘Good In Goodbyes’ - this is a recovery song. There has been a bad relationship, but she has learned from it and it has made her stronger. The symbolism in these lyrics are almost as good as in ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’. Next is ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’.- the personification of Love - asking that even though she is placing most of her attention on her career she is asking Love to stay with her. These are the most sophisticated lyrics, I’m sure a lot of work went into this song. The last song from the EP is ‘All My Fault’ - though I think this is the weakest song on the EP, it is still an excellent song. This is an apology for a love gone wrong, and she is asking for another try. The major comment for all the songs is that they are all great. She not only has one of the greatest voices, her lyrics are sophisticated and impactful. Her previous covers and originals are excellent beyond belief, but they don’t approach the quality of any of the songs on this EP. The songs that come the closest to this EP are ‘You Say’ and ‘Million Miles’. I want to make clear that the above comments and evaluations are my interpretations of her lyrics. I want to reiterate that in my opinion Angelina and her songwriting team are among the best in the industry.

To tell you the truth, I can’t tell you which other song is best on Angelina Jordan’s EP because they’re all great, whether they’re in jazz, pop, r&b, soul, or so much more; they’re all so very different after this. She does such a spectacular job, and you’ll have to listen to them and tell us in your musically trained mind the differences within her songs. She does a fabulous job in each and every song, which you’ll hear when you listen to the other 4 songs in the rest of this EP. I totally love your reactions to her singing. ❤

🎉🎉 Absolutely love your reaction! There are another 4 originals on this EP that you haven't heard yet. Even though they are not music videos, the songs are both unexpected and phenomenal. In a recent live stream, Angelina mentioned her soon to be released album under Republic Records and Universal. Her first concert in the US will be at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH, on the 22nd of September. There are still a few tickets available. Her other performances in 2023 will be around the world, especially in Norway. 🎉🎉

Just wait til later in the EP when she brings out some Lauren Hill and Alecia Keyes. oh, and just a sprinkle of Ariana Grande, a tiny bit, like a wink moment in a song. The late 90s R&B and Soul come out later in the EP, makes me think what her Full EP will contain and is she saving the best for last eventhough the entire EP is beyond anything and she disclosed these song are from a 100 she has written. Girl came so preparred, she even got two kitchen sinks

Strange that this issue about influences seems to be so touchy. Singers are influenced by others singers just like painters are influenced by other painters. Some find their own individual path earlier, others later. Angelina early on put a lot of material into her influence box, so no there are plenty of ingredients to cook up new recipes from...and what she cooks up is delicious!

Okay, since you asked-wait til you hear Diamond. It may not be rhythmically like the first two songs you heard from her EP, but it grabs you right away and then holds you with surprises throughout the song. And it might be the best song on the EP to capture the “Old Enough” theme. Angelina combines really catchy, unusual lyrics with stylistic pronunciation and sass that has you right in her vibe immediately. Great reaction, Juliet. It is almost as if you enjoy listening to Angelina😂 I think that you and I could agree over a cup of coffee that Angelina is one of the absolute best singers out there. And after a little cognac to go with that coffee, we may even agree that she is THE best singer out there 😉 Personally though, I don't really need the coffee OR the cognac to agree with myself. Funny how that goes... I have to be honest with you and say that I REALLY think you should go ahead with the rest of her songs as well, despite they only being visualizers so far. I think that's the only way for you to get to them before she releases her album. And listening to the album WITHOUT the context of the last 4 songs on the EP would be a bad idea I think. If you go ahead with the last 4 you will understand why I say that. I rank 3 of the last 4 songs higher than any of the previous two,despite the fact that they have music videos to accompany them. I hope that makes you really curious. I haven't seen anyone do this before, but I will give you my personal ranking of the 6 songs anyway. The order MAY still change, even after 2 weeks. The good news is that all the songs on the EP are different, as one would expect from an artist as versatile as Angelina. Great selection from the upcoming album. All of the songs are great on their own, but “Diamond” has super radio quality in my opinion.
