@@Fonetiker personally I never thought these videos were anthropological documentals, I, and I believe most of the viewers, understand that these videos are a very sacarstic comedy of manners, although they have inspired me to learn a little about Norway.

@@Fonetiker Yes, I assure you that I understand he is making these videos to be funny and that it's not a legitimate representation of Norway! I was just joking about how I'm learning "so much" about the culture when of course it's not encompassing the truth of Norway. However, as Pedro Arjona mentioned, it did actually inspire me to learn about Norway and want to visit it!

I went to Lenox mall in Atlanta few months ago and while eating at the food court, I saw all kinds of different people wearing different clothing fashion. Some were wearing thick bubble jackets, some were wearing hoodies, some were wearing t-shirts and shorts or blue jeans, some were looking "high end", some were wearing skimpy short shorts. some in high heels, some was wearing boots, and some are wearing sneakers... and mind you.. this was like 50 degrees outside so I was like... To be able to laugh at oneself , your people and country, takes a very integrated person that owns his own reality!! Well done.....you are absolutely wonderful. and your explanations on Norway is never cutting or vicious! It's a spectacular channel! I am from South Africa and I wish we could laugh at ourselves the way you do!!!

I suppose wearing the gear is half-way to ''active''! They do say you are what you eat. If the Matpakke is anything to go by you only have the strength to get dressed, not go skiing?! You need to come to the UK to get a good Roast Dinner! That will put hair on your chest and make you flyyyyyyy!!

I discovered your channel last week and am enjoying watching several of your videos everyday. I was curious about how the elderly are treated in your country. You mentioned in one video that the generations do not generally mingle. Perhaps you can consider exploring that topic more thoroughly in the future. Please keep up the good work. You are a good cultural ambassador for Norway.

Yup, I quickly learned how to dress in layers and the value of wool when I worked outside before, especially when I was working on a garbage truck. Good old knitted wool socks are a life saver in really cold winter weather, the fuzzier the better.
