Wow... here you have a "priest" that thinks that he he's more wise and compassionate that the Church, Tradition and the Scriptures because he has a special knowledge of the depths of God's mercy that none else has, or very few at least...

No, what you have here is a priest who isn't sitting in a high chair, but is in the streets dirty letting his actions speak. Church tradition means nothing if we aren't actively feeding and healing those hurting in our world. Jesus didn't wax poetic about upholding Jewish tradition. He actively went out and healed the world.
