This is a youth wrestling move demonstration video showing how to run crossface cradle when corkscrew is not there. Also how to run corkscrew when opponent is on their base. (some shadow wrestling added at the end for fun :) )

Crossface Cradle (from corkscrew) x5
Corkscrew / Cradle Defense x5
Squats x25
Crab Walk x5 laps around living room
Army Crawl x3 laps around living room
Note: Finish the crossface cradle with your knee in the side and forehead in their temple. Squeeze hard to force both shoulders to the mat. I did not show the finish to the camera very well in the video.
Defense: Peel right away, elbow down, bring leg out to resist, stretch out if you feel cradle coming
