One adorable habit of JKs that was left out is his tendency to mimic people or animals or even just sounds! He is like a sponge that absorbs things then he likes to give his impressions right back. His Hyungs love this since they always laugh when he does his impressions of their singing, dancing, talking or mannerisms! I really love his relationship with all the members, they all take care of him and acts so proud of him and he seem different when he is with each one. Always adapting to the person with him. JK is the youngest. And while calling someone “-ssi” is more formal way to address someone, it’s not common for younger person to call older one by the name unless it’s strictly business. And the way JK gives “Jimin-ssi” is in more of joking/funny/unusual intonation(or accent ), I think to try to make Jimin laugh.

Hi ! in my opinion lots of JK's habits have been left apart from that video...Jk often sways (seaweed effect, common in BTS lol !) he bounce or dances "in tiny" during interviews, he fidgets a lot too. I love the moments where he just stares at his hands like he had just discovered he had them ! I think it is more energy overload than anything but I think it is more telling than some habits shown in this video. He often touches the other members, it was a way to comfort him when he was younger. And his stutter has mainly disappeared now. Much love !

Jungkook!! It feels great rewatching older moments and compilations with you. He has grown a lot but it feels like he hasn't changed a bit... Just a bit of something about Korean culture. The head tilt and the big hand clappings while laughing is very Korean thing that South Koreans do and this can also be widely seen in other celebrity variety shows/interviews, dramas etc..particularly in variety shows if you ever go into watching other celebrity korean shows, you see the over dramatic expressions and witty banter are always fun and energetic. BTS is just like that but with the language barrier is hard for foreigners to understand and appreciate the banter and the teasing fully.

Hi Hannah. I agree with you, they have many similar habits probably because of living together for a long time. JK pouting his lips is like SUGA and J-Hope. Head tilt is like J-Hope and Jin. Zoning out is like SUGA.... In addition, JK also bites his thumb nail like SUGA. Both JK and SUGA make that weird sound while talking as if sipping water or inhaling something. He also bites the side of his lips while V licks his lips..... If you notice, both Jimin and J-Hope throw themselves and roll on the ground if they are intensely laughing.... They are so adorable

Loving the diversity of videos you are giving us!! 🥰 The thing with "Jiminssi". For males they use "hyung" to refer to older males. If they are the same age or younger than him he can call them by their name but usually a particle is added at the end depending on the ending of the name, it can be "ssi" it can be "na" (think of it as the kun, chan, tan or chi in japanese). JK should call Jimin Hyung but as joke between them or maybe out of closeness, he calls him Jimin-ssi as if they were the same age. They find it funny because is like JK is pushing the limits, poking Jimin by not speaking formally to him. Since he's the maknae and they all dearly love him he gets away with this behavior but is not something that should be acceptable in their society since Korea has very strong sense of herarchy. If they were different people, JK not talking formally would be taken really badly by the whole society, but they aren't the kind of guys who go along with society standards and herarchy, you can see it in their music and within them as a group and family.

I don't completely know why JK does it but he's always use to resist calling Jimin Hyung (he does use it sometimes) which you're right is a term to call an older male especially a close friend, some people seem to think it mean brother (but it doesn't completely) but it actually doesn't have an actual English equivalent. A term you can used for a younger male friend would be ah, so you could say Jungkook-ah between friends. JK just started calling Jimin, Jimin-ssi one day which means sir and is overly formal, which makes Jimin laugh so I think JK just kept it up from then on. Jimin and JK are very close and spend a lot to time together even outside work so I think JK using ssi is even funnier. I don't think it really matter why he was doing it, it is super cute. However now he seems to use it less (maybe because we are getting different content we don't get to hear it) and has even on occasion not used a honorifics with Jimin, which is slightly confusing but it is what it is.

Explaining why Jungkook's calling Jimin Jimin-ssi is so funny is very tricky. Jimin-ssi literally means Mr Jimin just like the Japanese suffix 'sang'. However, it is not polite enough. Calling someone their last names plus 'ssi' turns out between formality and informality. It should be Park Jimin - ssi for Jungkook to be respectful. But 'Ssi' is never addressed for your closely related ones. Idiomatically, you call someone you have already had a relationship with bla bla ssi implies there takes place a icy mood between them( something's going wrong or needs corrections), which Jungkook can't bring up because he is Jimin's younger brother. Actually Jungkook's addressing Jimin that way can cause a trouble in Korean society. However, you know, it doesn't sound rude or disrespectful to Korean armies. You should put your stones right at the crosses when you play the board game GO. Jungkook's calling Jimin ssi feels like a stone put among the crosses, not right on the spot. This sense is the key to Korean culture.
