I have recently acquired Detoir Noir after smelling pdm layton in a store. I have no where near that money to buy layton so this was my only option and you are right, it is a fantastic clone. I still wanna buy layton at some point in my life, but for now I am happy with this clone.

If you finish that bottle I'd recommend amber oud bleu exclusif. Even better than detour noir.

I recently picked up prada carbon, I worked at a perfume store and always recommended carbon to a lot of customers who wanted to buy Dior sauvage as an alternative. They all ended up liking it and buying a bottle but I’ve never got a bottle for myself until yesterday. Why didn’t I ? Idk I’m glad I have it now.

While most fragrance reviewers love the smell of Detoir Noir but hate the bottle design I love everything about it and yes, even the bottle I love, why? Simply because is different to most bottles which makes it unique in a good way, to me it looks like a boxing glove 🥊 and the crooked part of the bottle fits perfectly on your fist when you spray it, it’s actually the most comfortable bottle to spray in my whole collection of over a hundred fragrances, is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Dylan blue is great for a daily also coral fantasy worked wonders for me New Year’s Eve so many girls were hugging me with their eyes rolled back it was a bit concerning

it appears to be harder to find as of late but… prada luna rossa sport could be a nice shout for this list as well. Extremely fresh for a vanilla frag for spring time is amazing.

I bought Azzaro the Most Wanted for my 19 year old son for Christmas; he loves it! Funnily enough, I got Le Beau le Parfum for myself at the same time, mainly because my gf is a big fan of Pina Coladas 😂

Just got azzaro the most wanted, and omg, I’ve gotten nothing but positive attention from this. As a teenager my self I would definitely recommend. 👍 Love the vid.

Interesting as a mature bloke i have used detour noir, 9pm and d&g light blue Intense. Frankly i find most scents could cover multiple age groups but real mature mens scent could be old school heavy or barbershop

My friend got le beau le parfum recently, he sprayed some on me, smells great, im curious though as to why its only really being discussed now in the community when it was released in 2022. Its very versatile, a bit synthetic but smells great nonetheless. Definitely up there as one of the better JPG options. It beats ultramale by a longshot imo

I think I'd put carbon in the 20s category and pick ocean EDT for the teenage category. It's really grown on me but it makes me wish I was under 20 again.

is it normal to go nose blind just after 2 days of smeling a particlar fragrance i always cant smell it anymore after using it 3 days i can only smell it in the first hour but when i ask my friends they can smell it etc

Put it not directly under your nose, like 1 spray behind each ears and 1 on your neck under your hair line. And look if you see a difference!

I’ve gone nose blind a matter of minutes if the scent is strong enough, be careful to not overspray if you can’t smell it no more get some feed back from others in case you’ve gone nose blind. I personally like putting stronger fragrances on my wrists to not go immediately nose blind to them

Before I knew anything about fragrances, I went and bought D&G Light Blue EDT from Marshall's lol (iykyk) and was wondering if I'm missing out on Light Blue eau intense? Is there a big difference warranting buying the eau intense? For anyone who reads/replies thank you!

there’s no enormous difference between the two but it’s safe to say that there are many things about eau intense that are just better. In europe it’s possible to buy eau intense 200ml at €70, so it’s a no brainer imo

22 year old here👋 Purchased two new fragrances from a niche brand called NCP Olfactives. Not too expensive for niche, got it 70% off so did a bargain. Really recommend the brand, high quality for my nose at least. DNA not complex, so easy to use in layering. Got the 705 leather oud (similar to tom ford ombre leather), and 706 safron oud (similar to 705 just with safron and rose). Thought layering them made a real strong beautyful head turner

People will say that all the time, ignore them, they just follow what others say, our noses change all the time as we age then they blame the fragrances, all fragrances get stronger as they get older then they get a new one which will feel weaker because is fresh out of the factory but with time it will also get stronger and macerate.

Fragrance formulations may change over time, as specific ingredients can become prohibited and therefore no longer used, so the DNA of the fragrance may change slightly. Don't believe somebody saying all fragrances get stronger as they get older as this is simply untrue - all fragrances have a shelf life due to oxidation

Id honestly get the amber oud bleu elxclusif for a layton clone. More pricey but noticeably better than detour noir

Where I live bleu exclusif is around £70 gbp for a 60ml bottle, detour noir is £27 for a 100ml. There is a difference between the 2 but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price. Detour noir for the price is the best clone for Layton

you have y edp for cool weather, light blue for warmer weather and born in roma to dates/going out. In that case I'd reach for something classier or dressed up. (sorry about my english)
