I love the beauty blender some dupes are the real techniques miracle complexion sponge or the beauty junkees makeup sponge. Also one from Marshalls the precision sponge will do.

I have used the one dollar dupes and the Real Techniques one as well as the triangle make up sponges but I still prefer the Beauty Blender. It is much softer and bouncier, it does not eat up my foundation and a little goes a long way. It is worth the price. I am sixteen and I pay for my own make up products, so I was iffy in spending twenty on it when I only had a hundred to spend that week (as I save the rest of my money) but I do not regret buying it. I now only use one or two pumps of foundation with the Beauty Blender. However, a liquid foundation is the best for a Beauty Blender or Real Techniques sponge. For a cream foundation, I prefer the standard triangle make up sponges (wetting them of course).

Taegan E funny story, my sister found one in the gutter at Starbucks. She actually used it for several months but then it got mold and my parents mad her throw it away... and she actually BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE!!! Then that one got mold and I think she's still using it.

when you are to cover blemishes with foundation. dot it on the blemish and let it dry for a few moments. then, use a clean finger and lightly tap it until the borders blend. 😀

you can possibly try a color correcting concealer (green/blue) to dot on the red bits to cancel it out before putting the foundation on

The RT one is what I've been using for a year and it's the only way I can apply foundation. I just don't like how cakey my foundation looks when I use a brush.

Comebacksparkles ! That's so weird that you say that because the new one I bought felt totally different than my old one!! Of course I bought a two pack and will have to use them, but yeah when I ran it under water it felt so different

Comebacksparkles ! It felt...like it had A LOT more holes. When I filled it up with water and squeezed it the water squeezed out very easily, whereas the old one slowly filled with water and took longer to bounce back to its old shape..if that makes sense

Comebacksparkles ! Yeah I definitely liked the other one better. Bigger pores means it sucks up more makeup and I have found that to be true. The finish of my makeup doesn't look all that great anymore, I have to layer etc :( Thanks for the heads up about the Ulta sponge, though!!

When I tried this foundation I put it on with my usual routine, applying Mac's Fix plus, before, during (mix it with my foundation) and after and omg I asked my grandma if the foundation was my color and she didn't even realize I was wearing it which is what I wanted! I fell in love with it!

They can also send it back to the people they buy it from I.E. companies like loreal, mayballine, etc. So that way stores like CVS and ULTA don't lose money.

I hate when people say in US you can just take it back to the drugstore. Not everywhere, where I live if you've opened something or used it they won't take it back. You're stuck with it. And there is no Ulta or Sephora where I live either so I don't get that luxury either. Unless I want to shop online and pay shipping I'm stuck with Walmart, dollar store and rite aid for my makeup. And the ones here won't let you return. Maybe in other areas not here.

I know a lady whos husband works at a cvs and she goes in with her two year old naked kid and literally breaks the seals on makeup and opens them and swatches them on her sons nasty arm and puts them BACK were she finds them. And the employees do Not care! Its disgusting. Now if anything is opened anywhere i remember her n put it back 😖😖😖😖

Stores like walmart that sell makeup should just let people test the products. I mean, what's so hard about letting one product of each color open for display so that people can test them? Oh right, money...

+adriana12995 People don't even bother cleaning their mess. There's always foundation dripping everywhere, nail polish streaks, and lipsticks with broken seals. It IS drugstore makeup. What you see is what you get. If you want to swatch go to Sephora, ulta, or a mall makeup counter. Also a lot of people don't know that you CAN return makeup products at Walmart (with a receipt) and they will give you your money back.

Yeah different things oxidize on me, but this doesn't. Different things act differently on people's skin. So strange lol, why can't we all have the same skin type and tone, it'd make picking up foundation much easier

This is one of those foundations that I LOVED at first, used it exclusively for a while... but I realized it just wasn't wearing very well throughout the day. I looked incredible at first and maybe for a couple hours, but I have a physical job, and by the end of my 8 hour shift it had separated patched off a bit and looked greasy as hell... In fact, the dewy l'oreal infallible foundation holds up better throughout my shift than the maybelline matte one! Just goes to show... Anyway, I'm a new subscriber. Love your personality and you just seem so much more real than the other beauty vloggers I subscribe to. Love the channel

Trust me, as someone who has had extremely dry skin my entire life I go out of my way to find moisturizing foundation that won't settle in the tiny bits of skin peeling off my face, it's a struggle... No amount of moisturizing or exfoliating will stop the tiny bits of peeling in the dry months :( I use the dry skin version of this foundation!!

I use the dry skin one too but it emphasized my texture I'm dry too btw and I apply it with a beauty blender but I find that it doesn't look dewy and my skin looks even worse

Lisa Wang If you want you can try chemical exfoliation like a BHA. Paula's Choice has one with salicylic acid but I prefer the gentler Korean version from CosRx with betaine salicylate. Works wonders!

Thank god for Cassie being the only KZfaq who zooms in close enough to actually see the foundation on her face. Everyone else is so far away and has the crazy intense bright lights and their skin looks perfect. Cassie is like the only one I trust for foundation reviews 😂

This is my favorite foundation EVER 😍😍 everyone complements my makeup and ask what foundation I use ALL the time :3 it does not oxidize on me and it lasts so long , I use the matte one and I have dry skin but it works very well with me 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Owl Who I have not tried the Dewey one however I've been wanting to buy it, if I do, I'll give you feedback. The matte one does not do that to me, it sets on my skin really really nice doesn't look cakey at all, I can even set it with a powder and it still won't look cakey or dry, try building it up it should work that way and make sure you use a moisturizing primer or just any moisturizing lotion before ! :)

I love the real techniques sponge. I don't have a ton of money to spend on brushes so my foundation brush is super cheap. I prefer the sponge especially because I don't use a full coverage foundation so it works really well for me :)

yeah that formula's kinda weird, i agree. but i mean hey, as a pale girl, you get what you can. but yeah. fit me's a bit on the yellower side, but i also heard revlon 24hrs lightest is on the pinker side? i've never tried that formula before though so y e ah.

One of my favorite drugstore foundations. My face is not super-oily and this keeps me matte throughout the day and the most important thing: the lightest shade is actually light enough for my skin! If you're super-pale, I definitely recommend trying it.

I mostly use Maybelline cosmetic products cause they're good and affordable, when Maybelline's Fit Me line came out and saw some of their ads on TV here in Finland I was of course taken in. Now it's all I use. It makes me look like I'm just naturally perfect. I love it!

I have dry skin so I use the dewy formula of this foundation and I love it as well!

I have this exact foundation but in a different shade and I apply it with a 3 dollar wet n wild foundation brush and tht works fine so u don't NEED a sponge for it lol but tht just me bc I personally hate using damn sponges to apply foundation

I love this foundation :) my favorite way to apply it is the old fashioned way... my fingers. It looks natural but still gives me good coverage. My skin is extremely oily, though, so this foundation doesn't hold up on me at all unless I set it with my Coty Airspun Powder. I've used the Fit Me powder but it doesn't last long enough. Coty Airspun all the way!

I thought I was the only one who thought this when watching makeup tutorials. I've noticed a lot of people only sometimes set it. I always think people should set it with translucent powder. If not, like you said, it slips and slides.

I've been watching all of your foundation reviews and I have to say, I love this one the best! It didn't start out cakey or anything (my biggest problem with foundation :/ ) and it mostly just looked dewy if anything by the end of the day! You looked lovely as always!! ALSO SIDE NOTE, apparently I am watching EXACTLY one year from the day you posted it! Ha! :)

i know this is an older video but you are my go-to for these things even if they don't work out for me in particular, and i've been looking for a decently priced drugstore foundation to sort of start my journey into actually WEARING foundation, and this was one that has been on my radar and i am SO HAPPY to see that you've done a review on it because we have similar skin types (oily) and we're both glasses wearers, so i'm keeping fingers crossed that this works as well for me as it did for you. I don't know if you are up for it..but I was wondering if you could do a You Tube Made Me Buy It on the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. It would be awesome if you could..even if you get a sample from Sephora. (because samples are totally awesome and free and NARS Sheer Glow is TOO expensive!)

I know I wanted to try it wayyyyyyy back in the beggining days of KZfaq beauty videos and everyone was going bonkers over it but since I haven't heard about it in awhile I kind of forgot about it! I got this foundation a few days ago. I have a combination of dry and oily skin and that means it's so difficult finding a foundation that keeps my skin looking and feeling good through the day. This foundation is actually pretty good for me, and I have a combination like I said. I'm not sure how It would be on other people but surprisingly it's actually pretty good on me! ^~^ by the way I love your videos cassie!!

The true sign of a makeup addict! I always come home from work with swatches on my hand. I have 2 shades of this foundation. It doesn't help large breakouts or crusty breakouts for what I've seen on myself. I've found that the maybelline fit dewy+smooth foundation always works for me it's my holy grail. I'm always open to finding something better however. If I'm not using the dewy and smooth, I use the covergirl trublend. :) I love your reviews they've helped me a lot!

This foundation would be good for people who dont have any scars or pimples ,like myself, since it only had medium coverage. The age rewind concealer is also something good to use.

I love these so much! I also love how you have "normal" skin lol if that makes sense. When I watch a lot of foundation reviews, the girls usually look like their bare face already has foundation on it. I like how you can actually see how the product works in this.

Best drugstore products. I have severe acne (mostly cystic) and scarring and I have been using both shown products plus the Maybellene stick concealer together for five years and it covers my acne, dark spots, and redness COMPLETELY. Plus with a primer or setting powder it lasts all day. It really is amazing, out of all of the other drugstore products I have ever used

Hey. Found your channel a few weeks ago and went on a serious Cassy viewing lockdown session. I enjoy you keep it real and dont try to pull the wool over our eyes...and also enjoy your graduate school stress stories as I graduated from that world last year and had your reaction to the salary you need to pay off your loans in 10 years...and I dont know if you mix foundations but mixing L'oreal's infallible with a dewy foundation is great!

I've got oily skin and this foundation was AWFUL on me, even when i used a mattifying primer it just dissolved and i felt so oily by the end of the day.

i have dry skin and usually go for foundations on the matte side. they just stay put way better. i just moisturize really well before hand

I use a small long brush and just dot on face so I'm not using too much on my face, then I use a sponge to spread it on skin. I do use a big blending brush when putting on powder if I need it.

I tried the dewy and smooth and it creases ; starts to break off my t zone really really bad . & what primer did you use before the foundation ?

I have a normal to dry face and an oily nose but this foundation works badass for me. I use this for every day make up. But I don't use the matching powder. It works better on its own. Hope this helped a bit.

+Kathrine Cerecerez i think it would be best applied with a damp sponge since ur skin is normal to dry it won't cake up!! since the foundation is matte there is a better chance of it getting cakey so a sponge would help make sure ur skin doesnt get super cakey and dry, hope this helps!

I have the Fit Me foundation in its older formula/original kind. It isn't matte or poreless it's just a basic light-medium coverage foundation and I personally love it. I'll have to try this one too!!

I just use the powder and I love it! I'm not a foundation user. I agree that if you have dry skin it'll stick to the dry spots. I have combo skin so I exfoliate once a week to get rid of rough patches. The powder makes my skin look matte and it lasts all day for me.

It makes my forehead really shiny with powder. It takes a long time to cover my spots. I can understand why some people like it though. I've got the old formula so maybe the new one is better.

I agree! I'm very pale with a very olive undertone, so its hard for me to find a shade that matches my skin, and when I used this product, my face looked dry and cracked! My face was moisturized and exfoliated even. Hate this product.

Yes people with dry skin (ME) are looking for mat, because matt finish gives nice and smooth flawless look. Just because the skin is dry ''matt'' does't mean that the foundation with non matt finish going to look matt as well. In fact most of them look cakey, unless I wear not full coverage foundation. Other than that, love your videos :).

Love this foundation on you and even though you were a little oily at the end of the night, it still looks great on you. It could be pulled off as a dewy natural glow to your skin. That’s how good it looked.

Dry skin here! I don’t look for “matte”, but at the same time foundations that’s say “glowy” or anything like that break me out like crazy! So a lot of foundations that don’t have pore clogging ingredients are the matte ones... I only use a small amount & have 2 layers of moisturizer along w hyaluronic acid serum & it works usually. Not sure if I will try this one or not tho 🤔
