For clarification, do you ever do competition analysis to determine whether it's worth making the video...even if Keywords Everywhere says there's a high search volume? Also, should we be using those extra keywords (not the primary one but still relevant keywords) in the description or tags?

Up until now I've not really considered Keywords Everywhere, yeah, even despite hearing from you directly in the PVA group (be gentle 😁) but this may be the most compelling video about the WHY and the HOW to use it as well. Hi can anyone please advise me as to why my traffic seems to be coming from my home country of the uk, whilst my videos are not uk related? I’m posting at 9pm uk time based on the internets suggested best times to post which is then around 4pm est for the US but when I have tried posting at 9pm US time I get little traffic and in my channel location I have USA - any help would be much appreciated

SO AGREE with you about Keywords Everywhere and its usefulness. Question: what is the fewest searches per month in a KE search result that I should consider useful for video content ideas? 1,000 per month? 10,000? 100,000? Thanks as always. Primal Video is amazing!

Thank you! It’s really about verifying that there is any demand at all, then you can gage compteition and work out if it’s something you want to show up for. There are some videos we make with 800-1000, others much much more. The lower number ones we still want to be the ones that show up for those too, but we know those likely will have less views overall compared to others, yet still valuable to people and our channel

Should I go after high search volume keywords or will I not have a chance to rank because my channel is new? What is the maximum keyword difficulty I should be under? "Keywords Everywhere required permissions for core functionality - Access your data for all websites" Not sure I want to be using an app that requires access to my banking website to display KZfaq search data. The search volume per month doesn't seem to appear on the free version anyway.

Thank you but I’m not interested in making videos for other people. I make my videos to please myself. If other people watch them it’s great because they see my name and that’s my goal. Spreading my name is why I started this channel. It’s altruism. I don’t expect to ever make a penny on KZfaq. I believe all people deserve respect… unless they are not showing respect to others.

This is interesting information, but I'm having trouble with two things. First, KZfaq keeps saying keywords really aren't relevant for anything except ranking for misspelled words. I do think your video may be more about using them to find out what's popular and getting searched for a lot, so that's worth considering. Especially if the tool you recommended does that better than the other major platforms (and that's certainly not hard to believe). But again, if I see a video topic that's popular and decide to make that video, I would think I'd start using those keywords to help my video rank. So we're back to using keywords that youtube says don't really help your video rank. But the thing that makes me pull back from Keywords Everywhere is this credit-based system that keeps popping up everywhere. I think it's a rip-off, man. If I'm paying a monthly fee to use the platform, then charging me for credits is basically double-charging me for information that isn't costing the platform anything to produce. If I pay $50 for the month, then do a lot of keyword search- getting charged for EVERY SEARCH- then I could easily find myself out of credits for the month way before the month is over, even though I've paid my $50. In fact I tried a couple of AI platforms and that's exactly what happened. I paid my monthly fee, made a video, the platform wouldn't show me a preview of the video until I downloaded it. Of course downloading it costs credits. So I finally get to see the video and I'm not happy with it. So I go back and try it again. You guessed it, more credits. I think it's a rather immoral way of charging customer twice for using the platform. Once for the monthly/annual and again for actually using the thing you're paying the monthly fee to access.

Keywords do not work nor will they mke or help you show up in the search. Here is how I know. I followed all the (ahem) tips and tricks the KZfaqrs like this one says to do and use. Keywords adn other misc stuff. I have for the past 3 weeks been search for my channel under the keyword History as My channel is called Today In History. I have ALL the History keywords all the TOP channels have. So for 3 weeks so far 30 times a day I have gone to serch and put in History, history documentary and a few others. What were the results no one is asking or cares about. Not once has my channel or any other small channel shown up in the row after row after row after row ect of results. The ONLY channels that come up in the search are 400k plus channels onlt the large channels. They even show up 4-5-6-7-8 times each but not mine and NOTHING under about 400k. Then today I thought, I know I will search my actual channel name Today In History. So I did and what happen. ONLY and I mean ONLY Associated Press channel showed up who happen to have a channel called today in history. Row after row after row after row ect. of nothing but AP vidoes. So I leave you with this, they search and keywords are comepletely useless and do not work at all. It will not make your channels any more visable unless you have 100's of thousands of views already. 3 weeks of testing proves this. The actual statistic to make money on KZfaq is less than 10% of all who try. This means 90% who make a youtube channel will fail no matter what you do.
