The point of this Allen is to demonstrate that you can still look good without all the lights, stands and big studio, this little set up clamps to your desk and looks great, I've actually made a few little mods to it now and it actually looks better than my mine set up, which rags me off because I spent a lot of money on that when I could have done it for a fraction of the cost.

I had the same issue, I ended up taking the monitor off the stand and fitting it to a Vesa arm to get it a few inches lower. This is why I only use 27” monitors in front of me, a camera with a 23mm lens works perfectly like this. But I have to get my monitors low to the desk

The cost for the stand and all the arms would run you about $140. The challenge is finding a monitor arm that is at least 39" tall and is able to support the recommended light. A lot of people go for these ring lights and it's hard to get the right look with such harsh light that's set so close. As for the subscribers, took me about 14 months and that's because I made a few mistakes content wise, if you did it right it would be easy to do it inside 6 months or even shorter.
