Between the FX3 and the FX, for personal use of beard trimming and facial clean up not sure between the two. I have the Baby bliss pro dual foil and I love it. Love to add the same brand trimmer to go with it. It's chrome

Gotta get those patty cut fx's. Been wanting them just don't necessarily need them. I've almost been hoping my silver fx crap out so I can have an excuse...unfortunately on top of working great they're also built like a tank. They lose a star because they're built so well

So far I'm still in love with the fx3 trimmer. The clipper is good but you ofter forget to lower the speed when cutting It works great on cutting long hair also.

I just bought the babyliss pro super motor skeleton UK version and it surely gives the sharpest lines of any trimmer I have ever used before

My opinion… I think it’s not the clippers but the blade. And seems like the babyliss blade is just a thing of beauty and out beats any other trimmer blade. Original fx blade for edging and deep tooth for bulking. Slap either blade on a jrl and u have a hitter right there (just cuz they’re quite)

You’re 100% correct…That DLC blade doesn’t hit as well as the original Gld/FX! Thanks again bro…. I wouldn’t be cutting like I do if it weren’t for your direct influence & tutorials! God bless!

Looking for a trimmer (home use). Great information and def will not use it for manscaping 😂 LOL. I always try to purchase commercial or professional grade tools when I get any tool, so I appreciate the comments about professionals using the tool. Probably going to go for the original babyliss..

I almost lost it on this review Eddie… until your final Ranking 😂 I’ve never been so mad about a review until the end. For sure GoldFX & FX3 are number 1 & 2….. yes Gamma & SC are coming strong, not long before they are right their also. But not enough people have the FX3 just yet…. I use them all day with my Gold Fx they are both incredible trimmers. The EVO is my 3rd trimmer and that’s simply because I don’t need to waist time or money with Wahl or Andis anymore and we all know that we keep being disappointed. Dope review my boy, glad you gave Babyliss credit at the end.

I bought the jrl 2020 trimmers and i got a charging base. And came wth a different black bottom. Yes i did buy them as a combo with the clippers limited edition gold pair and the blade hits out of the box

My number one ended up becoming the absolute hitter with a gold gtx blade modded onto it. I don’t know what it is but they have an amazing synergy and it turns the hitter into an entire different beast and puts that awesome blade on a better trimmer lol

Favorite is Babyliss GoldFx original, but Ive had issues with multiple blades coming in with the edge of the blade being so sharp it hurts the clients. Other barbers at my shop have had the same issue. Worst is Andi Exo. I might as well have flushed that money down the toilet. They are terrible. They pull hair constantly and die so fast. I should have returned them when I could.

Love the video. I have the T-outliner, Slimline Pro Li and Gamma Hitter...I put a bunch of time into zero gapping and sharpening the blade on the hitter thinking it was the solution for my beard (not a barber) and I have absolutely HATED this trimmer. The power compared to the slimline pro was trash. Battery life was amazing but it did not cut or hit well for me at all. I sold it and now I'm back in the market for something that hits like a zero gapped slimline pro with a bigger blade. This tiny blade drives me crazy but nothing cuts better to me.

Eddie, can you do a comparison of the Gold FX and the X-EVO/Hitter with either the Ultimate or Ultimate 2.0 blades? This would help me decide on my trimmer purchase!

Man don’t sleep on the slimline! The slimline is a dope trimmer. I put a ceramic 3versince cutting blade on it and sharpened the still blade. Clears bulk no issues and hit like a laser beam. And it’s only $60! I can’t agree with you on how you placed the slimline bro. It is an all around dope trimmer and it is cheap as hell. You just got to know how to set it and spruce it up and it can hang with any other trimmer bro I’m telling you. I have a shitload of trimmers, all the ones you have listed here. I pick up the slimline the most. It’s never failed me bro. I wouldn’t lie to ya homie.

Maybe another category could be convenience like if other chargers fit it or whatever or if it's like the gammas and can be charged multiple ways.

My problem with any cordless Andis trimmer is the battery loses power way too quickly, within 4 to 6 mths. I now make sure I always purchase a separate extended warranty, always 3 yrs if possible. Asurion is great & the cheapest but mm

I like how your straight up Eddie with Babylisspro that there customer service sucks which I agree. It takes 30 minutes for a representative to pick up the phone and you don’t care if they send you there products to test. I like that your not expecting anything. I do agree with you they have the best trimmers. In my opinion there clippers are trash.

What's your personal opinion on the VGR line of clippers and trimmers is the VGR brand any good or reliable like these other brands I'm not sure if you ever came across one before.... And also I'm on a tight budget and I'm thinking about getting myself the wahl edge pro trimmers .I heard it's a good trimmer to use when you are beginner but I'm not sure how clean do those trimmers cut 🤔

To be honest I use the fx Sophie Poch edition and the andis love then both but if I want a sharp line best go to is the straight edge and thank you for all the qork you do to bring the info to us.

I have a question. I shave my head and beard with a combo of a Oster Model 10 with a #000 blade for my head and a cheap Walmart beard trimmer no guard for my face. I shave once a week or every other week. Would you guys suggest to buy a really nice trimmer to do both?

Got the FX3...had problems with the on switch...company was easy to contact and exchange, but the one they sent me did the same damn thing.

Eddie, can you do a video on zero-gapping, oiling and putting on a (taper) blade so that the Rogue clipper is humming as it should? I bought this and as soon as I unscrewed it to change to a taper blade I did not realize it would spring out on me so I would not be able to see how it was put together. I was also surprised to feel the oil on the inside pieces. It cut my husband when I tried to edge and felt too warm in my hand. Can you help me or tell me where to go. Stylecraft customer service does not seem to answer after the sale.
