All Dean needs to do (personal opinion) is sit down , more waist movement , parry the jab, chin down, and most importantly use his jab to set everything up, not every shot has to be hard!

I see one major horrible habit that deen has and that is he opens his mouth and goes “HAHH” every time he punches. He has the right idea of breathing when when he punches, but you should never open your jaw when you punch. For optimal breath control you should either go “shhh”, or you “sssst”… They even have mouthpieces with a opening in the middle if that will help you keep your jaw closed/ locked. The reasoning behind it is that if someone catches you on that chin the right way while you throwing a punch with your jaw open and going “HAHH”, you are going to sleep. I know a lot of fighters that have the same bad habit of opening their mouth and going “AHHH” when they start getting tired. It’s not bad to go HAHH” like that when you are throwing a power shot and you’re committing; that’s actually similar to what is used in karate when they say “KIAI” (pronounced KEE-AH!), or for a more known example; when Bruce Lee would go “WAHHHH”. It actually helps you generate more power. Your breathing and breathe control is extremely important. There are several benefits to short controlled breaths in especially due to the long duration of rounds in boxing. I’m sure that most experienced fighters already know that but sometimes we need a little reminder.
