@@Individias I know we both watched the show Maeve literally threw her hardest punch at him, and he told her to stop playing around she's on the list He NEVER took her serious enough until she made his nose bleed then the fight was 3 seconds long. Homelander Solider Boy (had homelander on the ropes, and can disable supes powers Noir(Maeve cannot 1v1 him he's. Better combatant,stronger, and has more busted abilities) Gap Storm front (point blank lasers, and took 3 supes to down her) Kimiko(literally did the heavy lifting in the storm front fight) Maeve

After she made him bleed and he got serious he tried to laser her and she tanked it then blocked it, then she literally continues to throw him on the ground after dodging his punches. After he took her eye they continued to fight the entire time soldier boy fights the boys and we see maeve literally punch him out of the room and the final scene of their fight is her stabbing him in his ear and punching him which stunned him...nowhere in this fight shows shes massively weaker than him...if anything she has a low relativity to him bcs she fought him for a while with no fatal injuries and was able to injure him as well twice and one being after he was serious 💀 And if anything maeve is also relative to soldier boy due to being relative to homelander who is stronger than him, not saying she wins but the fight would literally be the same except this time she doesnt have to worry about any eye lasers and the strength gap isnt as big compared to her and homelander. Stormfront bled from one punch from maeve and when she attempted to punch her back maeve countered and punched her again twice..and im not talkimg abt when they jumped her im talking abt when starlight and kimiko were knocked away..if anything maeve may actually win against stormfront considering their short encounter...and she can easily both tank and block her lightning as she was able to do it to homelanders lasers Maeve literally already shown that she was physically relative to noir when she headlocked him and forcefed him the almonds when she saved starlight, and she didnt seem to struggle doing it either... Maeve absolutely slaughters kimiko...kimiko literally has no extremely good physical feats thats even on par with maeve, and she got beat up by noir who maeve literally headlocked, her punches on stormfront werent as severe as maeves either, the only thing kimiko has going for her is her regeneration Once again, none of these showings show that maeve is MASSIVELY than homelander or soldier boy

@@Individias Noire 😂 cooked her ass very easily from what I can tell Strength, and combat he would definitely beat her ass but all we got was the jumpscare. Also relative to Sb HELL NO. SB actually had homelander shook. That gap is even wider because if she's relative to Noire ,and SB beats his ass, and homelander essentially 1 tapped him(from what was shown idk if that was noire just letting it happen or not) then the gap is just as Big. Sure no lasers just the radiation beam. 1. I'm just hating because people try to put maeve over characters she's DEFINITELY not stronger than or close to. 2. Homelander laser people because that his easy solution to most things 3. The effort he put towards SB is DEFINITELY different than Maeve because even when she stabbed him in the ear, and made his nose bleed he still was just irritated, and not scared. So it's DEFINITELY a massive gap because the way the homelander responds to people tells you relatively how strong they are, or his perception of them.

it’s a paradox anyway. if the deep or a-train were smart enough to pick up the point homelander was trying to prove, and said no instead, they would still be doing what homelander wanted them to do. it’s hard to gauge whether he’d be more pissed or less pissed in that scenario.

Yes he can A-Train’s top confirmed running speed in season 1, juiced to the gills with Compound V, is just over Mach 1 (~830 mph), during his race with Shockwave. Same season, the Boys’ surveillance camera picks up Homelander flying in a search pattern (before he confronts Frenchie in the van), and the screen shows he is moving at around Mach 2 (~1522 mph). It’s possible Homelander can move even faster if he is flying for speed instead of reconnaissance.

Homelander was proving the point that they’re all supes, and to not be willing to step up to him made you literally trash in his eyes. The viewers were all wrong in that if Deep or A train would have stood up to him and said “No” and given some sort of advice that wasn’t lead by fear, Homelander would’ve listened. It’s the treatment of him by others that reinforces his psychosis and insanity.

The thing is Homelander is unpredictable. He’s instilled fear in them for years since s1 so how can he expect them to change how they see him especially when they know and the show has proven time and time again that he doesn’t like to be challenged. Even with him making an exception with Sage, we still see moments where he reverts back and forth in his old ways of being the lead and unchallenged.

I think in many ways Homelander is unable to psychologically develop as a person because he is so powerful and unquestioned. So, he actually craves discipline, but every time an authority figure comes into his life that person could be incinerated by him in literally an instant, and he always eventually pulls that trigger and throws a tantrum, like any child would. Except when he throws a tantrum, he literally takes over the world and is positively reinforced

I sort of disagree with this. Stan Edgar is a great example of someone who stands up to Homelander and says whatever is on his mind to his face, but Homelander doesn't respect him: he loathes him. Sage is a sort of replacement for Stan, except she is working WITH Homelander and not for the success of the company, however, Homelander is petty and has an ego about others who feel like they are better or above him in a way and I believe that at the end of the season, Homelander will kill Sage.

Butcher,Edgar,and even hughie are characters he had multiple chances to flat-out get rid of but didn’t, because they don’t fear him, he straight up mentions how he respects butcher which is why he wouldn’t get rid of him and how he was even terrified of Edgar because Edgar was treating him like a child, Homelander even had the perfect chance to just laser Hughie in front of starlight yet he backed off and even smiled once hughie stood up for himself and said he wasn’t afraid of him Homelander respects those who aren’t afraid of him or aren’t afraid of death. Which is why he doesn’t kill them even when he 100% has the chance, and the only time he does try killing these characters is when he feels like they’re stepping out of bounds too much(butcher using solider boy to fight homelander, Hughie listening in on his plans in the recent ep).

I don’t understand, then how should i have done it? The reactors / KZfaqrs don’t have a problem with it at least the ones that I use. It brings their content to other people even if it’s a little who end up going to their channel and start watching them. But I would argue the point of the scene was to show that Homelander is his own worse enemy. He inspires terror and murders anyone who dares to defy him, yet at the same he acts like he wants people to stand up to him. I think the the point of most scenes that feature Homelander is to show how much of a psychopath he is. lol

But there is barely any political pandering. That shit is extremely immersion breaking for me. You can do it without being hamfisted and virtue signaling every 5 minutes. They proved that in seasons 1-3. Just feels like Kripke decided to burn the show down for spite. Probably too many people he considers "Alt-right" that like it. Can't have that. I just can't respect a writer like that.
